Holy Cow is right! I got mine two summers ago, brand new with an extra art cart from Proudparents (i.e. Provocraft) on eBay for $97 with free shipping.

WHOA ...  even with 3 carts, that seems like a rather hefty price tag! But I guess if you really, really want it, and can't find it anywhere else ... at least you can get on HSN. But you'd better hurry, as the ad says it is nearly sold out!

I fail to see why the prices are so high. It just seems like all these companies are shooting themselves in the foot. I COULDN'T AFFORD THEM WHEN THEY CAME OUT THE FIRST TIME. Now, it seems like they're a couple hundred dollars more! I might be wrong on that....at best, they haven't come down any. Maybe you all paid $499 or $599 when they first came out? Having said that, the Expressions have not come down all that much from 2008 when I paid $399. I bought one "on special" through cricut.com a few months back for $170; but, I think I just happened to catch a good sale. IF I see any out in the retail stores, they're usually $350+. Wow, with only 3 cartridges, that is a steep price! If anyone seriously wants an Imagine I am selling mine on Ebay with 13 cartridges, mats & inks & it is in very lightly used condition. Works perfectly! Just doesn't get any attention from me so would prefer to have the cash to spend on more cartridges for my Expression! http://www.ebay.com/itm/121025057954

Oh wow that is very expensive!! I paid $187 for mines last year at WM on Black Friday. What are they thinking on those prices? Not sure who is going to pay that much knowing that PC has chosen to stop producing them...

Mine came from Walmart too during Black Friday last year. So far, so good. I would not have gotten one at the HSN price.
