Just wondering what happens to the'free carts' that came with our Gypsy once a G goes bellyup. Do we lose these carts because we can't link them to CCR? I do no have physical carts of 'Christmas, Blackletter, Gypsy Font, or Indi Art' because they were on the G as a bonus when I purchased the G.
I use Gypsy font and the Christmas carts all the time. So I lose these cars once my G goes dies and I do not want to purchase another one OR PC doesn't continue making the G? It doesn't seem right. IMHO, PC should allow us to link all our carts to CCR before discontinuing the G.

I agree. I got my gypsy stolen, bought a new one and got reserialized(after mailing it to pc). If I cannot find another one.after something breaks  ....not all are in the DS,,,, Edited by user Saturday, November 24, 2012 1:13:28 PM(UTC)

I lost 6 cartridges last month because of an update that went wrong. Had to reformat the G and now I notice that the 6 carts I got free for registering the G a few years ago are gone. Has any talked to PC about this?

Call PC and CS can add them back to your Gypsy. But, it was a Gypsy promo that gave us the carts, so I don't think they will be added to CCR {even though they were at one time}.

I too have ask PC about the free carts we got when we bought our gypsies about letting us link them to ccr when Gypsy goes down and they said they are not for sure how they are gonna deal with that. But they did say something in the order of working on how to let us relink out carts linked to the gypsy to ccr. Until then I will no link anymore carts to my gypsy. I love my gypsy but its not worth the hassle of not knowing if we can relink or already linked carts to ccr.

Add me to the list of those hoping the carts linked to our gypsys (including the free promotional ones!!) will be available on CCR. Patiently waiting...
