First off I would like to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving and I hope you all get to spend some time with loved ones. As it is your holiday time Raquel has asked if we can run this challenge for two weeks. So for this I have been able to select extra sketches to keep you going. First things first use the sketches just to get you going feel free to flip, strip and turn stuff to make your own master piece. However there is only one proviso and that is to come back and share your fun. So without further delay here are the sketches I have chosen for us all to play along with. I do also have a couple of extra credit options just incase any of the above does not tickle your pickle make one a guy card (i can hear you groaning) and the other a Christmas card, lets face it we will all need to be doing them by now . Have fun. SueEdited by user Wednesday, November 21, 2012 4:33:20 AM(UTC)

Great choice of sketches and extra credit. Here are the Ad Colors. As always, you don't have to use them. The main thing is to have fun. Dee Have a wonderful holiday and be safe whatever you do. [/img]

Carrottop50 - Well you are on the ball, but sometimes that's just how it goes you have some spare time and you are able to make 3 lovely cards. I love your take on #2. When I saw the sketch they had some real nice cards to show. Great Christmas cards for the extra credit.
Dee - Thank you for the ad colours quite spring like. Someone has shown me a card this morning with those colours in but she won't be able to share with you all but take it from me its lovely.
Sue
Have a great day everyone.

Well here is my first card of the week. It sort of follows the layout sketch . I used my Kaisercraft papers left over from my sons Birthday card you may remember seeing it. This is for a friend to give her Dad who loves his motorbike and he's about 60. It also covers the guy extra credit sorry no cricut on this one but I did die cut out the Birthday circles. Oh I also used my new gift of Kraft paper to make the card blank. Sue

AcrossThePond: thank you so much for agreeing to host for two weeks for us. Wonderful variety of sketches for all of us to pick from as well. I see you used a layout sketch for one... I'm going to try real hard to make one since I'm so far behind as far as scrapbooking. Awesome guy card... I need to take lessons how to make great guy cards from you
DeeScraps: thank you for the Ad colors... beautiful color combination
carrottop50: Wow wow wow... great set of Christmas cards! Love those reindeers, they are so cute! Embossing here adds a lot too. Love the truck holding the presents! I might do that one for my son. Great job with the last card... love that ribbon
britishgirl: wonderful take on sketch 2 and you tackled the Ad colors already! Great job
BingoLady: beautiful sketch 2, love all those pretty tiny flowers

From last week...AcrossThePond wrote:Raquel - Cute little puppy, did you need another challenge? Great tag too. Sue Sue... this puppy has been such a blessing! 7-months old and fully house broken! The previous owner had to give up this puppy because they moved into a place that did not allow pets over 30lbs. They had taken great care of him though. He knows the basic pet commands like sit, stay, shake, lay down, come here, get in the car, etc. He's very calm and silent... harldy ever barks. He walks right by your side on a leash, doesn't run off when he's not on a leash, and he sits calmly on car rides. He's so sweet! He's great with the kids as well!Edited by user Friday, November 23, 2012 9:19:41 AM(UTC)

Great embossing on both cards! Sketch 2 with all those lovely flowers is my favorite! It's so pretty! I got bumped off the forum all morning long when I tried to post! From last week...christineramey8b61e521 wrote:Hey guys I apologize that you guys are not able to see any of my posts. I realized late last night what was happening to blog. Apparently because I'm connected to Pisca and had it on my computer as well as to my blog, whenever I had deleted my pictures they went bye bye. Like completely gone! I was freaking out. I wanted to cry. All of my hard work gone! Yep!
Well, I got to talking to some of my writer friends on FB as I'm a writer by hobby. They suggested for me to use the recycle bin. The recycle bin on my computer had all of my pictures thankfully and I was able to restore them all! YAY! Long story of how it all happened but I have them back! I'm working with them today to try and put them back on my blog.
Lesson learned. . .never. . .. never use anything connected to google and blogger again! You will loose everything! I promise.
What typically happens and what happened to me what that my blog was overcrowded with my photos. So I had to free up space. When I did it deleted everything! :(
I'm restored now but some of my blog pictures I had deleted a while back. So I'm not sure how many pictures will be able to be saved. But I'm working to restore it and I have removed Pisca from my computer. I know of site called Pickmonkey that will use or Paint on my computer for further projects. What a lesson to learn!
Sorry for long post. This may also help with posting on the site. . .not sure but will see. Thanks for your patience. I'm so sorry about the problems you had but really glad to hear you were able to recover

Well here is my card for #4. It is for my friend to give her Granddaughter. As always she likes to have glitter on it somewhere so I used DCWV stack. I used SB cartridge for the panel behind the image, I also cut the circle behind the sentiment too. I cut a few flowers out of the left over bits to dot about. The image is a Precious Moments which I coloured in with Promarkers, I also used up lots of scraps on the layers to try to match some of the flower colours. Lots of dots of stickles added too. Hope those that were celebrating Thanksgiving had a wonderful time with your family and friends! I'm hoping these 2 cards will post with all the problems that everyone has been experiencing. I will comment later. First card is based on the layout sketch #5. I used Elegant Edges to cut the frames with the snowmen and the red layer. My friend will be hosting a New Year's party so it will be a thank you card. The paper is a new Me&My Big Ideas stack that my dear hubby bought on Thursday. He picked all by himself and such a wonderful collection! I'm showing the inside of the card too! Second card is extra credit Male birthday card. I used Pretty Pennants for all of the pennant cuts including the Happy Birthday frame. I used Glossy Accents for the car image button. All papers are Graphic 45 Gentleman stack. Enjoy your weekend! Well first off I hope everyone had a fabulous Thanksgiving with family and loved ones. Ours was very quiet just 6 of us ( a record low for us) but I was telling my Mom it is still just as much work. You still have to do all the same stuff just in a smaller quantity. We, mostly my Mom was in the kitchen from 10:30 in the morning till 5:30-6 when we ate.
I have not spent much time in my craft room over the last few days but I did manage to make this little guy following Tim Holtz instructions. I think he came out pretty cute and it was pretty fast

I hope to get some of the sketches done over the next week
