I'm really close to finishing a few of the days. I took this whole week off to use up vacation time and to have plenty of time to craft. Still hoping to get this out before thanksgiving! A lot of the things just need to be cut but I have to clear off room on my craft table for my cricut!

Rebecca, it came as a happy surprise that your box arrived so quickly! I intentionally made the velcro at the back of the brown bow for the Tim Holtz mini loose since it will get bulky as you add more pics. I enjoyed making those butterflies but what I thought would be a simple project turned out more difficult. lol! It was a challenge matching up the feathers according to proportion. I wanted to make more but those were the only ones that lined up nicely. The Eiffel tower was so much fun. I went crazy with the glitter. lol! I did not put "to and from" at the back of the tags since I thought they would make good journaling spots for your layouts for your girls. Your box was hard for me to part with especially that wreath but I am happy it went to a good home.

Kim, I wanted to see the pics since I had never been to Romania. My neurologistis from that country and when asked which part of Romania she was from, she said "Transylvania". She rarely jokes so yes, I believe her.

Pamela, I can't believe Isadora will start school soon already! Please tell her not to grow up too fast!

wow I didn't realize how much I actually had done! the biggest thing is to figure out what I want to do for the blues and greens item! I am not the person cooking thanksgiving dinner so I will have some time on thanksgiving to finish some things that I started and maybe figure out the last item!! lets see if I can actually sit down and concentrate considering I am going out shopping that night! alot of the sales are starting early thanksgiving night this year!

This has been a pretty hectic week couple of weeks between work and home. Work is always crazy but the personal stuff is awesome. I was asked to be a part of another crafting board and online store that is getting up and running as an administrator, oversee swaps, design team member, and online class instructor. Thank goodness all these duties do not start until January. There is activity on the board now but the kickoff will be January. At least it will give me a full month's break before starting. I will still do stuff on this board as well. Just super excited to be asked.

I hope to get some good crafting time this weekend.

Okay - so is anyone finding some good Black Friday online deals for our crafting addictions?

MemoryMakingCrafts.com has good price on scor tape which I ordered. I like to stay stocked up on that stuff when I see a good price.

And GinaKDesigns has (what hopes to be) a fun and interesting mystery box and I needed some of their CS so I ordered some of that as well to qualify for free shipping. Plus you get to pick out a free stamp set too from a selection of 6 choices. So figured I was getting lots free and/or a real good deal at the same time that I was re-stocking my favorite CS.

I looked at a few other sites cuz of percentages off on dies and stamp sets, but decided to not splurge.

But if someone else finds a great price on stuff we covet here...wouldn't take much to talk me into it. lol

Finished another project last night for this swap so I'm off to work on the next item on the list!

Then leftovers later at my parents....

Though I brought pie home with me last night...so guess I'm off to snitch a slice of that first. I'm sure it will be good for my creative mind, right??

hope everyone had a happy thanksgiving! went to my families house for dinner then DH and DS came home while my mom, brother and I all went out shopping! got home from shopping just before DH left for work this morning! yes I was out shopping all night! there was no choice but to go to bed after he left! I think I am pretty close to being completely finished with my christmas shopping now to finish up the last few items for this swap this weekend! have a good weekend everyone!

I crafted allot yesterday, plus sent off more of my
homemade thankyou notes. Pple have been so kind
and tomorrow is Bill's benefit too.
Thanksgiving was great except one dd was in Seattle
with her dh visiting his relatives. We had an amish turkey
and 2 kinds of stuffing etc and 3 kinds of pie, but I stuck with
the pecan cause that is my favDrool
My ds couldn't sleep that night so went on a late night visit to his
gym where he works out, it was 3 am and he said the traffic was xcrazy as if it
was broad daylight. Me, I was sleeping. I did get a few things today tho.
Got a leaf blower for 20% off and some pic software for my new puter etc
it was about half off too. Gotta love a good dealBigGrin

Holy cow, I just posted a long posting and it just disappeared!!! Grrrrr... I've also been having issues with logging on... crazy!
Anyway, in a nutshell... didn't get any decorating done, I went to our storage building to get the tree stand that Bill forgot, but it's so buried that I couldn't get it! So that won't get done, but I can do the other stuff... but did I? Nope, I came home and was so cold that I fell asleep!!! Yikes!!! So I decided that tomorrow will be decorating time! I'm off to the craft room to work on some things for this swap!
Jen, does your husband go hunting just for the day? Mine left Friday afternoon and won't be back until Tuesday night!!! So I have some quiet time here!!!!
Kathy, I hope the fundraiser goes very well! How wonderful to have such kind people looking out for you and your husband! And I'm sure you would do the same!!! Good luck!!!!!

We are a crazy people to be up shopping in middle of night! lol

I always think the prices are just as good - if not better - in the final days winding down to christmas day. So I haven't shopped Black Friday in years and years and years.

Got another project done this afternoon. It's so nice to have a long weekend and just be able to relax and craft and not be bothered by anyone! lol Really helps that it's football season and DH is busy watching the games all weekend long! lol

Teri - I envy you being able to do your christmas decorating while the house is empty! You are so lucky for that perfect opportunity! Better get it done tomorrow! lol

and good luck Kathy with the fundraiser for your DH. It's wonderful that your community is doing this for you both!

Worked Black Friday ...worked "smoldering" Saturday!!! Will be crafting tomorrow. I've only got finishing touches to put on 3 projects and then I'm done! I'll hopefully be mailing on Wednesday.
