Has anyone cut out any of the Holiday cards? I cut out three of them and they will be beautiful once I get them finished; but I was wondering if you put the lining just behind the front of the card or make it large enough to fit the whole card. I'd appreciate any feedback on this. Thanks!

I haven't finished these, but on the green one, I have only placed a single layer (liner...but not the one in CCR for this card) behind the cover page and I plan to glue down the edges. I'll probably use glitter glue or something for my colors in the berries and snowflakes. Then, I'll just write on the inside of the card that is the back of the cutout section. Hope that made sense. I'm planning to pull up the transparency on the red one (off the red paper) and add glitter to the sticky side of the transparency (this is really clear contact paper). I don't like how it's shining and want to cut down on that look. I also am not so happy that I embossed the front of the transparency. This part of the cutout letters was what was left on the mat when I took the other card off the mat. I couldn't bear to let those perfectly cut out letters/designs go to waste! Go down to the IMAGES (hit the up arrow on the bottom left of the screen if the images aren't already up). The FREE images we have should be already showing in the filter. If not, use the little dropdown arrow on the filter and go to MY CARTRIDGES. HTH. Char

I think I would only line the back of the front card. I am worried that the extra paper would add weight and cost more postage. This time of the year it seems my cards are always on the limit and I do not want anybody to pay extra postage.

I love these but haven't tried any out yet! Can we buy them as a whole cartridge at all? Or do they have to be bought individually?

Right now, asharoonie, we're being able to use four or five images FREE in CCR. I have a feeling there will be more images on a digital offering after they turn us off from the FREE ones, because I see a couple out on the Home Page that I really like a lot. I might have to buy whatever they offer.....if they do. I'm sure they will. I have a lot of things going in my head on these beautiful cuts! CORRECTION: I guess these are already being offered for $.99! Thanks, Scrapalette. I did see that out on the Home Page, but it went right over my head when they also said we had FREE access to CUT some similar to those they're showing. I still hope they offer a very nice cartridge with fifteen or twenty neat cards. THESE ARE REALLY EASY TO MAKE and to pretty up! I think I'll be using them for my Christmas Cards this year. I could make thirty or forty in a few days, I think!!! I'm only thinking here!! Char Edited by user Saturday, November 17, 2012 6:04:23 PM(UTC)

I just bought 5 images because they are only 99 cents now. I'm sure some of them will probably be free in the near future, but I liked them and wanted them. . .now!

Love the freebies! Thanks for the info regarding the lining. I need to cut a few cards this evening.

Oh, I'll definitely be cutting a bunch of the free ones! I DO but a lot of digital content and was just hopeful they'd release these as a set rather than paying 99 cents each. That being said, even if I DID buy all of them separately it wouldn't be a huge cost for a "cartridge". :)

I cut the card #22 and it is really a fun card. The only thing is, I cut the liner at what I thought was the same size but it was just a little bit bigger than the card. I trimmed it a little on top and bottom, the sides were the right size. No big deal but think I must have done something wrong...I'm not used to using CCR.
