My Circut only works for a few seconds and then stops when I try to use my Design Studio and my design Studio will not update message comes up saying "cant find Cricut" any help would be great!!!

Which Cricut are you using? DS doesn't work with the E2, Imagine or Mini. If you're not using one of those, have you updated the firmware on your Cricut yet. You do that from the Help menu in DS. Edited by user Monday, November 19, 2012 2:17:40 PM(UTC)

Have tried to update firmware but it keeps coming up on computer that it cant find Cricut. I have Cricut personel probably obsolete by now !!!!

The a personal still works fine!  I'd suggest you give customer support a call so they can walk you through some troubleshooting. Click on Contact Us at the bottom of this screen for contact details.
