When I weld letters together the inside of the e didn't get cut out. Any way to get it to cut properly? Am I welding wrong?

If you're using CCR, moving your letters a little further apart sometimes works. And sometimes moving one of the letters slightly higher or lower than the other letter works too. Which cartridge (and letters) are you trying to weld?

I was using Type Candy cartridge and trying to get one word rather than ten separate letters to make subway art craft project.
I'll try moving the letters around and see if that helps. Thanks.
