This is my first time using CCR and I was happily cutting along when all the sudden mid-page it stopped. A message came up on the computer screen about my cricut not being plugged in the USB or something. Now I can't get my machine to do anything. When I push the power button it will light up but the LED screen is blank and pushing buttons won't do anything. Is this a glitch or common? Do I need to trash my machine? I'm so sad.

What kind of machine do you have; sounds like your cord might be bad? Try turning it off and unplug it from the wall and from the computer for fifteen or twenty seconds. I would also reboot my computer. After you reboot, go ahead and plug into the USB Port on your computer and turn it on. Does that get you going again? Char

Tried unplugging and reboot, didn't work. I still can't get my screen to come to life.

Also, make sure you're getting it into the right USB port. I think you might have several to try plugging it into and some are stronger than others. Usually, the ones at the back of your hard drive are stronger than those on the front (unless some of our gurus can come on and tell us different....this is what I've always believed).
