My Gypsy broke in the middle of making some invitations (big HUGE tears!). I'm thinking of trying to use Craft Room for the rest.
Two questions: 1 - Will the newest version of CCR work with my imagine? Will it fry it if it doesn't work?
2 - I already linked my cartridges to the now dead Gypsy. Will I be able to plug my carts into my Imagine to have them be recognized and cut by the program?
I'd hate to spend the time to do all of this with CCR, then not have it work. Thanks for any help.

Sorry about your Gypsy! The answer to both question is yes! The latest version of CCR works with the Imagine & you just insert your carts & cut away.

Thanks, Tammy! I'm figuring out the new features in CCR now. I'm glad I'll be able to get these done today.
On the minus side, I still need to have a Gypsy, because i do demonstrations in homes where I can't use CCR (no internet access). And, all of my carts are already linked to my G. I hope CS can help me tomorrow. My poor Gypsy didn't deserve to die this way.....

I would be lost without my Gyspy! I would have to buy another one immediately. You will have to send your old & new Gypsy in for PC to re-serialize to get you carts re-linked!

How old is your gypsy? If its out of warranty you might want to snatch one up while you an. Cricut machine had them on sale a while back. They might still be on sale. It's worth a try.
Yay so glad CCR worked with your imagine and you got your invitations done.
