I have not used my gypsy for about 2 years now, and only use my cricut with SCAL. I am considering selling all of my cricut products including my gypsy, all my cartridges and my machine. Is there a way to wipe my gypsy clean and unsinc my cartridges so that I can sell them all seperately?
I know in the past that has not been an option. Wondering if anything has changed.

To my knowledge - no. But I think it would be worth a phone call to customer service to find out what your options are (if any).

Sorry! but no you can't! Once linked always linked. The only exception is if your G dies, you send your old one & new one in & they re-serialize the new one so you can link your carts to the new one.

The cart is still linked even if the gypsy dies. When you link a cart, the serial number of the gypsy is written onto the cart and can't be removed. That's why {if you wanted to still use a gypsy} you send in your broken gypsy and have a new one reserialized to match the serial number of the broken gypsy. Then, when you try to relink the carts, it works because the gypsy serial number on the cart matches the gypsy you are relinking it to.
