This swap has been a challenge. I love this concept and hope there will be more. It is fun just being creative and trying to incorporate your partners wishes into a pin cushion. I am hoping Miranda will like hers. She has been a great partner.

Hi dear partner sorry I haven't been around much my grandmother passed away last Friday & we have been dealing with drama with the family that has been torn apart since the passing my my grandpa only 6 weeks ago. I am working on my project man its hard to find certain items in Bear country geeze but I will not give up lol...Talk to you later

Well I just tracked my pincushion and it has made it to Bakersfield CA but it doesn't say it's been delivered. Dancing star did you receive it yet? Seems they missed their projected delivery date by several days. Hope everyone is doing well, feeling good and ready for a new week. DH starts 2nd rd of chemo tomorrow so I will be out of town then. JCI -- Big waves to Amanda. Hope things are going well. Finishing up on my swaps so the Holidays are free for me. I love doing things for other people. We are working on shoeboxes for Samaritan's Purse and it really has been a joy to be a part of that project. We had a hard time deciding on which charity to work with this year. There are so many and we always choose a local one and an overseas one. Our local one is the Homeless Shelter here in Charlotte. One of the long time residents there was run over a few weeks ago and it was so sad. He was only 56 years old. The lady that hit him was not charged as the street was a danger area and he was in a blind spot and it was unavoidable. The lady was devastated and has headed up the project for the shelter (one of many) as a memorial. She is having a hard time with it. I am not sure I can handle it myself. So, please remember her in your prayers.
On a good note, there is so much to be thankful for and I am thankful for this group. You are all so kind and helpful. I have always been welcomed into every swap and it is so fun because every one has good things to say and no fussing. Thank you all for having me.

Hi Everyone ! I will post a picture of the one I made for our "prize" drawing. I wanted it to be really special and I hope you will all agree that it is ! I really hate to part with it.

I know that there are some of you who have been faced with illnesses lately and family difficulties, as well as those who were affected adversely by the big Storm. Honestly, my heart goes out to everyone, and in the spirit of the Season, I will not be considering anyone to be a "flaker" just because they may be late in finishing their project. I know you will all try your best to get them out on time.

Hi AnnaBella, Well I finally got your pincushion done! Whew!  I finally came up with something that I hope you will enjoy. Well at least it gave me a good excuse to get another cart  . I used the Flower Shoppe cart for a lot of the embellishments on the saucer. The butterfly on one of the pins is from the Spring Fever Holiday cart.
