I have TONS of DCWV stacks. It will be hard to decide which to use.
Looking over the weeks , I have ideas for most of them. It looks like all but 1 week will come out of my stash this time a round. ( I have a pretty big stash ).
Hope everyone has a great weekend planned. We have friends coming over Saturday night then Sunday plan to take the kids hiking at Dinosaur Valley , a local state park where there are dinosaur footprints. Sounds like we have some beautiful weather headed our way.

Hi everyone. This is going to be so much fun. Scraprageous thanks for clarifying for us. I would like you to email me the update info please.
I'm going to use your idea to print out the weeks and put it on my desk at work. I sometimes am just typing and daydreaming (repititious typing haha) and think of stuff all day so this will work out perfectly.
Going to go and look at the list now.
Hugs Sweets

Hi Scraprageous... Just checking in for quick clarification... If we do just one photo mat the overall size is 5x7 right? The instructions say to accommodate a 4x6 with one inch border.
Just making sure because it looks so big and I want to do it right..
Thanks for your help!

Sunnybrook494 - you are right. 5x7 does look large, but if you take a standard size photo and place it (they are usually about 4" x 6"), you will see it works out . I know the first time I did photo mats I thought things looked really big, but then when I put a photo on, I was able to see it was the right size.

I am getting excited to start my round one with this swap. Hectic things in life have been completed over the weekend with the Pumpkin Fest our church hosted and now - on with scrapping! Time for this swap/working on Christmas gifts and generally getting back into a 'regular' flow. I can't wait. One of the exciting things over the weekend - the trebuchet my youngest sons built - all set up and people could come and launch pumpkins into a neighboring field. Below is a photo of my two youngest putting the center beam/pivot into their machine. Weights and all came later - I thought I had images of the machine in action, but they are videos. Oh well, it was fun. Now to do some inside things and work on swaps in front of the fireplace

JCI I may be MIA due to the storm, but am spending the night cutting things I need with the cricut so I have something to do if we lose power. I just completed Week 7- I can clearly now. So excited how they turned out.
Everyone in the path of this blasted storm, please be safe. The called off school here for DS Monday and Tuesday. Stocked up on water and non perishable foods made sure I had enough insulin for the dog, so let whatever comes come.

oh boy - with the storm, things will get interesting.
I will pm my business phone to anyone in that area - that way you can text (yes, it is a cell) if something comes up. I keep hearing the news, no clue what to expect.
Everyone stay safe!!

It has been raining for the past 24 hours and the winds are picking up. Expected landfall in Atlantic City NJ about 5:00PM or around that time then it takes that nasty left turn and heads into PA. Safe safe everyone. Just wanted to give a quick update while I can.

We had massive rain and winds...sustained at 78 mph at one point. We lost power at 8:20 last night and it came back on at 5;30 this morning. My family laughed when they found out I was crafting by flashlight at 2:30 this morning. On the plus side I was able to get quite a few things done craft wise without interruption. I had the forethought to cut out a few things with my E2 so I was able to finish some cards and made matching envelopes. Hope everyone else is doing well.

Wow Laura, that's great, I'm feeling behind already, making eight of something is mind boggling. Denise you are too much!! I couldn't imagine what my eyes would look like after crafting in the early a.m. with a flashlight! Hope all is well.
Has anyone else started?

The DCWV stack I wanted finally dropped to $10!!!! Planning to start this weekend. I have a list of ideas :D Cricut Junkie - 8 of things gets easier. I usually just do things I like and will use (yeah, I know -- basic swap description ROFL) and it goes easier. However, I was finishing up Sponge Bob for another swap last night - I have no clue what entered my mind when I said I would do him at only 4" tall. Those pieces are sooo tiny I have resorted to using some enamel accents for the white and black and stickles for the red stripe on his socks. Looking for my paint pens now to help -- Love Sponge Bob, but he needs to be cut at about 6" for stuff to be easier to pick up. . One down - 5 to go! Patrick is much simpler.

Sunnybrook494 - so glad you are having fun creating - I always enjoy when I have some time. Had to stop swaps and work on some 'real' aka - needed projects, so here is hoping this weekend has some swap crafty time! I have some fun ideas bubbling and really want to get them created (or at least try creating them). Not tons of time, but hopefully at least a few hours to get some creating in! So glad I have an area I can leave things out (I didn't used to) - otherwise I would never have time to craft.

anyone else have issues logging into the site today? I did, but then changed browsers and it worked fine - gotta love the internet sometimes On the plus side - is everyone off and running with their swaps? I know my ideas are in the 'hopper' to be cut. So, what exactly does that mean? It means I have stuff from another swap drying where my cricut mat needs to be Once they are dry, I can start to cut!!! Remember - everything doesn't have to be cut from a cricut. It is just a really helpful, fun, and exciting tool to use!

I have 4 of the 8 weeks completely done, and 2 started. In between I am making ribbon barrettes for my great niece, finishing up the ATC swap and working on the 12 days of Christmas swap. My family seems to think I thrive on deadlines....

Denise - that is too funny, but I think lots of us secretly, at least sometimes, enjoy deadlines. Sounds like you are really moving through this swap Have fun! Laura - bummer about sick kiddo, but hopefully feeling better soon. Sometimes it is nice to have a 'reason' to stay home and scrap Cricutjunky - sounds great! My first one isn't finished yet, but hopefully soon! Hope your week goes well!

I have discovered with this latest change to the site that you have to clear your cookies every few weeks to login ... it's annoying enough that they don't keep you logged in, this just ads to it

My little guy is feeling better today. he stayed home again because he was running a fever yesterday afternoon( 24 hour rule). We went and voted this morning, then shoe shopping. Both of the twins were complaining that their shoes were hurting this morning. Don't see any scrapping getting done today. Laura
