JeanP~ God be with you all at this time. I hope you are all doing well and will keep you and your family in our prayers. Pamela~ She is the most adorable Hulk I have ever seen! Too cute for words. To all the East Coast Crafters~ I hope you are all doing well. I hope you all made it ok through the storm and I will continue to keep you all in my prayers. I was in Baton Rouge for Katrina. We did fine. But to see the devastation first hand was so sad. All 3 of my brothers lost their homes. God bless you all and keep you safe and sound till your back on solid ground ~Rebecca

Sheila, great to see you back and so glad you didn't have too much damage when you got home. I'm sure the wait to get home was stressful, besides everything else you've been through. Know that you and your family are in my prayers.

Sheila, I am glad that you made it home safely. You, Jean and your whole family are in my thoughts and prayers. I am so excited since we were able to get a new recliner. We have been looking forever and the styles that we like were in the wrong color or it's the right color but definitely the wrong style. How hard could it be to get a beige/taupe leather recliner? I am a girly-girl and I prefer a lot of frills in my crafts but you would be surprised as to how masculine my taste gets when it comes to decorating. Okay ___E___, here are sneak peeks of some of the items that I made for you. I hope you like them since I will be quite busy this November and it's a bit too late for me to make major changes. I am working this weekend and it's also hubby's birthday next week. Plus, I have classes to attend to since I am going back to CVICU. I have been pushed by my supervisors to work Neuro ICU since I was told I had the right temperament(?)for it, but CVICU is definitely my true love. Enjoy! I'm glad those of you on the East coast are Ok.
I made another item for this swap, but I didn't like how it turned out so i'm going to go a different direction on it.. I REALLY wanted to work on this swap this week but now my kids are sick BLAH... pukin there little guts out. Today I did manage to get in my scrap room to redo the Tile I had made for Pam in the Last swap that got broken in the mail. I just need to wait till the one kid who did go to school gets out, then I'll run to the UPS store (and it just so happens to be right next to a craft store, so I'll pop in there too.... Shhh don't tell hubby :) )
Hope everyone has a Great weekend. All my plans got cancelled because of the kiddo's. O'well, I should probably stay home anyway since I'm going to a scrap retreat next weekend YEAH!!!

Then I can focus solely on this swap. Totally excited! I have designs prepped for all of the items.

I see several of us are concentrating on finishing up all our other swaps so that we can then solely concentrate on this one. Great minds think alike!
I keep collecting ideas and items and making notes to myself, but I'm first going to complete my recipes and ATCs before starting this swap. I guess I just want to clear my head of any other ideas for other swaps first!
Hope you all are able to sneak in some fun crafting time today!

Denise, you are making the ocean directive harder then it really is.
All you are doing is either making projects that has main color theme of blue or green (like ocean colors) or buying 2 items that are either blue or green.
Buying could be blue flowers, blue/green ribbons, blue ink, green ink, etc.
Making could be a dangle in blues/greens. Or making any project with color theme of blues/greens.
It really does not have to do anything with the ocean if you don't want it to be.
Or you could make tags with ocean/beach/cruising, etc.
Kinda depends on what you think your partner likes or might like.

Thanks. Sheila came over today and we went over a few things for this swap, her ATC swap and my recipe swap. She should be okay with all of these because she has all her ideas and everything she needs to make them. She is starting to get things around the house organized and stuff caught up.(banking, bill paying, cleaning, shopping, etc) Seems like her phone hasn't stopped ringing for the last couple weeks and now she is getting political calls!!!!! Something she really doesn't need or want right now. I'd hate to be the person on the other end of the phone when she lets someone have it

I finally got logged on here 2night at a friends hse. Yay! I am finished with all 12 days and ready to ship. I need to beg my partners to post pics for me as I don't know if I will be able to do so from other ppls puters until I get mine worked out. I was watching the weather channel and worrying about all of you in the path of that mess. Hugs to all, Kathy

Hi everyone. I am making good progress on the swap. It has been a slow go actually getting started but now I am in full gear. I was able to get a good bit of two days done today. Plan on getting two more started this week as well. Love having a swap organizer to be able to keep every thing together (even my cricut cuts in zipper bags go in there nicely).
Sheila, my heart goes out to you and your family. I will continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
Peachy very nice sneak peaks indeed. There will be one very happy person receiving those items from you for sure.
Have a great and productive week everyone!

Thanks for checking in AmyL! I actually was just wondering if you received your diecuts okay...so that's why I was on the lookout for you! lol
Crossing fingers that this new storm misses us. I guess we are on the fringe of it and may luck out.
I think I just heard on the weather channel that some of the NJ coast towns are on evacuation notice today? Those poor people, if I heard correctly!
