I wanted to try and update my gypsy because I haven't done it in awhile. When I plug in gypsy to computer and use cricut sync it detects gypsy but stops and says can't retrieve update manifest from device check internet connections or call customer service. I am on version 1.4 0227:0236. What does this mean?

Make sure you are running the most current version of CricutSync and that your Adobe Air is up to date. In my experience, that is the main cause of the error you are getting. ETA: I just got the error as well, so maybe their servers are down this evening. If you still get the error tomorrow, you should probably contact support. I have been getting this error too and have asked this on the facebook page... they are looking into it. The troubleshooting didn't even work. My Gypsy works fine as far as designing and cutting, but I wanted to get the carts on my G that have just been linked on CCR.
Fingers crossed they figure it out soon!

I am getting the same error. I purchased a couple of digital cartridges on the weekend for Halloween. Now I am unable to transfer them to my gypsy. It is such a hassle to hook up my cricut to my computer (in anothr room) in order to cut. I hope they get this fixed fast!
