So excited for this! I like Craft Room but I LOVE Design Studio! I like that the mat is right to left instead of up and down. Make my kind of designing impossible in CCR!!! Thanks PC!

The fonts usually aren't added to DS until they are officially announced in the Hello Thursday update. (Even though the cart is already available.) Hopefully it will be there next month.

Ok, I just recieved my Cricut Design Studio in the mail. I have loaded it on my computer and even played around with it on the screen, but I am only using the trial mode right now because I might want to activate it on another computer. (Possibly a tablet.) Anyways, I tried the link download suggested and my Design Studio isn't getting all the updates, is that because I am in trial mode??? How am I suppose to get the latest updates when I get an error message from the Cricut website when I click "Check for updates," in Design Studio. I paid alot to get my Design Studio so that I could use it without internet. I want all the cartridges up to date. Please help me.

Help You don't have to uninstall DS if you're just doing the Cartridge Content update. Just download the update to your computer then install it. (Make sure DS is closed when you're installing the update.)

I really like Design Studio! I am ok with Cricut Craft Room, but found myself in a few situations when I didn't have Internet. Couldn't use the cartridges I purchased, digital and found out that I can't download or open the files I Design Studio so I could use them on my computer. I was under the understanding that I could down load the file in a format that I could use on my computer.
I can't, you can't use any of the files or digital purchases with Design Studio. If there could only be a way to open the permissions so you can use the purchases on my computer too. I was supposed to have favors made for a shower..... Mud on my face!!
Please ask whom ever programs Design Studio to see what they can do about this problem. AND thank you for the updates, it is very nice to be able to see the new cartridges on the list.

I am new to the cricut and have a Expression 2. Is Design Studio compatible to the E2 yet?? I am wanting to make a 22 in Letter monogram with a circle around it to put above my son's crib and am not able to make anything that big in the CCR. Can anyone give me some suggestions please.

Whew! I was wondering if DesignStudio was going to get anymore updates or if it was time to consider moving to another system. Not interested in having to be on the internet in order to create things, and the Gypsy screen is 15x too small. It sure wasn't easy finding the update, but I'm so happy the newer cartridges have been added!

I did not see Sweet Tooth in the list? I emailed customer service but they we not very helpful. All they said is it should be in there. Do you all see it on your side? Or is there something wrong with my laptop?

Running the Cartridge Content Update should add it though. If it's definitely not there in DS (check in the Fonts category as most carts are being added there now instead of the Images category) then you can download the Sweet Tooth Boxes file from here: https://www.box.com/s/pt0nh14ny7r3wjkkr6zmOnce you've downloaded it save it into your c:/program files/Cricut Software/Cricut DesignStudio/Cricut Fonts/CricutFontsP-S directory. The next time you open DS you should find it.
