Is all of the Cricut Vinyl removeable/repositionable? How do you adhere it permanently? Is it washable? Does the vinyl work well with small or highly-detailed cuts? Is there any issue with color bleeding? Thanks in advance for your advice!

There are different kinds of vinyl. Go to the Expressions Vinyl website. They offer many colors and kinds of vinyl. Also, they have how-to videos and a project gallery. Very good prices too! Edited by user Monday, October 22, 2012 7:44:24 PM(UTC)

Just thought I'd share . . . I needed vinyl to do some glass etching (first time ever) for my daughter's wedding 2 years ago and couldn't find any locally. I got some contact paper and cut it on my Cricut (initials) and used another piece of contact paper as the transfer paper (I got a lot of the sticky off first). Then, I lined it up on the glass vases and etched the bridemaids' initials on each vase. It worked great! Plus, I didn't feel guilty for "wasting" good vinyl on etching. Just thought I'd share . . . if you ever decide you want to etch glass, try it. I was truly impressed!

I was inspired by a wall decor piece - so I immediately loaded my first vinyl project up.... I cannot believe how easy it was, and how great it looks! Now when I look at various designs in stores while shopping I find myself asking "Can I do that in vinyl? Yes I can!!" Love it!

Most vinyl has adhesive backing on it, so it should stick to the canvas just fine. I did a video with some vinyl tips http://square1designs.bl...of-square-1-product.html
