I used Tim Holtz paper and distress ink with a computer generated image on my first set, my second set I used a stamped Snowman and colored in the scarf and used UTEE and cracked it. It looks something like this but I changed background paper and embellished some. Denise

I want to let you know the sad news my family recieved this week. My son Brian died at Fort Hood Texas. We will be traveling there next week for his military funeral and then bringing his remains home to our state Veteran's Cemetery. Jean and I just finshed another day of making Cards for Soldiers that are going to his unit that is deployed to Afghanistan. He stayed behind due to health issues. I have started on all my swaps and will need to keep busy after I return from Texas so intend to complete them all. Edited by user Saturday, October 20, 2012 5:36:27 PM(UTC)

JCI, I may be MIA for a bit due to the storm. I have prepared as well as I could, non perishable food, bottled water, and doggie insulin. We are good to go. The only downfall, well besides the horrendous storm is that DH works in NJ, and if the bridges close due to high winds or rain, he is stuck till they reopen. Everyone in Sandy's path stay safe.

It has been raining steadily for 24 hours here and the winds are picking up. Expected landfall in New Jersey is 5:00 PM or around that time and then a beeline westward towards PA. Stay safe everyone. We are going to ride it out here at home, LAst year with Irene we went to my sisters and it turned out she lost power at her home and we never did.
