That is wonderful. I tried to do one also (I was so inspired too), but man I just couldn't make it work. I will try again, I will try again.......................
Great job.

Thank you for the kind words.
The instructions for the cascade card are here: http://youtu.be/ZRRDFajhA88
It took me 4 12 X 12 sheets of white paper before I finally followed the directions
and it came out right. Give it a try it is fun to decorate when it is done.

Scrappin Dhilly - What did you use inside the BLOCK for the orange....that the lights wouldn't bother. I know the lights don't put out much wattage (I think), but I just wondered what you used. I love the block. I'm into them, myself!

The inside of the block has cellophane in it and it doesn't melt. I have a vinyl Christmas tree on the other side of the block so that I can use it from September until January.

I just finished 3rd and 4th mini chest. As soon as I finish one another friend wants one. They are fun to do and fairly quick to finish.

southgirltexas - Are you making these chests yourself? Or, are you able to buy them somewhere? Those are very intriguing. TFS!!

I'm taking about an hour break.....on countdown for our kids coming in from Florida tonight!! Hope our little two-year-old DGS enjoys the flight!!

The chests come in a kit that you assemble, glue, and paint. They are about 8" high and are made by Kaisercrafts. I did find a 6 drawer chest something like it at HL.

My 15 minute clock makeover :) of a boring white Walmart clock I've had forever.

Kinda funky but fits in my craftroom.
