It seems that the blade on my crest isn't going through to the paper. The tip of the blade is just scratching the top of the paper but not going thru it at all. I have it set to 6 and still nothing! Can anybody help with this problem? Please and thank you!!

First thing is to a machine reset. Here is a link to the instructions RESET link
That failing, call PC, they replaced my machine when I had the same issue! They are very good to walk you through trouble shooting.
