I am trying to do a custom design for the cricut for a company logo on the personal cricut can you do that?

You have to purchase Cricut cartridges that have shapes and fonts and can only cut using the designs on those cartridges. You have some room for designing by welding and skewing shapes, but for the most part, you have to purchase and use the cricut cartridges.
There are other machines (not cricuts) that will allow you to cut fonts and create your own shapes. Use google to search for die cuts that can cut svg files.
