Does anyone know if they are still making the Cricut Gypsy? If not, are the going to replace it with something else?

There hasn't been any official announcement from PC, but everyone thinks that the Gypsy has been discontinued. PC has stated that they will continue to support both the Gypsy and the Imagine. No word about a replacement.
