If you want only the cart, get it. You aren't required to participate on the Circle forums or buy from cricut.com just because you have a Circle membership. Plus, if you buy with reward points, you are emailed a code to enter for the Circle membership and you don't even have to enter the code to activate the membership if you don't want to. why would I spend 3000 points to join just to get the cart when I can buy the cart at Michaels for a lot less than those pints are supposedly worth. Paying more than 1000 points for a cart is HWY robbery......Not cool. Sorry but I don't find your suggestion helpful.

Totally agree- What are you thinking PC? Not everyone is on your bandwagon with the Circle. We would like some cart choices for 800-1000 points-not 3000

Didn't they say changes were coming for rewards in the near future? I think Nathan or Cara said that.

The points came free with the cart you purchased. So if you use them and get a cart you want, what difference does it make how many points it takes? It confuses me when people say their points are useless and yet they won't use them.

I for one do not want to spend 3,000 points for a cartridge! I do not purchse my carts from Cricut.com so joining the circle really would not benefit me! I already have most of the carts that are offered to join the circle anyway!
So....holding onto my points for now!

I agree that there needs to be more carts offered for 800-1000 points. When I became a member there were quite a few and I was excited to buy a cart and get the points. I knew I could eventually get a free one. Well now at 3000 points it will be forever before I can get enough points. I wish we were warned that the 800-1000 point carts were going away. I have 2000 points and would have ordered a few. I can not afford to purchase another 10-11 carts just to get one for free.

All of those carts in the 3000 pt category, except "something to remember", are available from J's, M's, ACM's and other craft stores, usually for $30-$35 on sale. If you join the circle and pay the $79 on cricut.com, then you'd be able to use your 2000 points to get a few of the circle exclusive carts on rewards. Unfortunately, right now there's not much of a seleciton even for circle members, so, it still might not be worth it for you go join.

I don't purchase very many new carts so I have a few questions. The carts that say Circle Exclusive and are 3000 points are now available at Joann's & Michaels?
I have never owned a gypsy and don't plan to. I've purchased many used carts that are linked. I've just signed up for the Craft Room and want to know if I can use the gypsy linked carts on Craft Room. TIA.

I have used my points to get a free stuff but is there something I'm missing out on?

Yes, all except "Something to Remember". That cart is a Circle exclusive for 1 year (well, 10 months, now) and can only be purchased with a Circle membership. But the other carts that are available are just regular Everyday carts that you can choose as your free cart if you want to. Quote:I have never owned a gypsy and don't plan to. Any linked carts you purchased are attached to the seller's Cricut.com account, so they can't be linked with your Cricut.com account, which is what your Craft Room is linked to. You can still use them with CCR, you just have to insert the cart in your machine every time you want to use it.

I have used my points to get a free stuff but is there something I'm missing out on? The Circle is a group of Cricut lovers you can join. It cost $79/year, or you can purchase your membership with 3000 rewards points. You can choose between one of six carts to get with your membership. You also get: - access to the Circle message board - 10% off purchases at Cricut.com - double rewards points on Cricut.com purchases - Free shipping on orders over $50 made on Cricut.com - Exclusive promotions on Cricut.com - "Circle Members Only" items on Cricut Rewards. This is not actually listed with the membership benefits anymore, but it still seems to be in effect. Circle member benefits changed in August. HTH

I am terribly confused. I spent 3000 points to get the Checkup cartridge membership. I really dont want the membership, but I wanted the cartridge. Now I get an email with a code to join. When I punch in the code it is trying to charge me $79. I just want the cartridge, will I still get the cartridge if I don't punch in this code and pay the $79 or did I just blow 3000 points? Thank you
