Here's the second Hello Kitty I've attempted. I tried to mirror one of the Kitties on the Hello Kitty cartridge using George and Basic Shapes. I started this on the Gypsy, but finished on Design Studio as I don't use the Gypsy to cut (nothing linked to it). On this one I tried to limit myself to the number of shapes used. I used a variety of at about 27 oval shapes and three heart shapes to create this Hello Kitty. The three heart shapes are the heart Hello Kitty is holding and her little paws that are holding the heart, used a scissors to snip off the pointed end of the hearts for the paws.
Still not sure what to do about whisker protocol on the Hello Kitty. Should they be black and long, go deep into the face??? LOL.
Anyway, this was another challenge to see what I could come up with only using George and not my 3rd party software.
I have several Dover royalty free stencil designs books for animals, plants and art. May try something from one of those books next, as oppossed to using 3rd party software.
Remember to keep your designs simple if you try this. The more shapes you use, the longer it takes DS or the Gypsy to figure out what to do.
