Hi everyone, This year my friend and I did The sweet shop theme on are bulletin boards. I didn't really make as much as I normally do. But I did make the calendar cause I didn't like what they had for the calendar. I also made name tags but forgot to take pictures. So with the calendar I used the cupcake lite cartridge that I got for 6.50 at walmart a year ago. I love a deal :) Anyway, the numbers were the girl font I think its called on the cartridge as well. I love how cute it came out and when I got it laminated a couple people came up to me and asked me how I made it. :D Just to let everyone know when using this cartridge the sizes are all different for each cupcake...which took alittle bit of time to figure out if I had to raise the dial up or down a half a size for them to look like the same size. I think the main size is 3 inches and with the numbers it was 1 3/4 inches. I also want to note there are only 2 layers and they are not that detailed so I had to improvise how I made them. I had to cut the cupcake out twice...once with the solid paper and once with the patterned paper. Then I cut with a pair of scissors what I wanted to be patterned on the cupcake. I hope that makes sense if you look at the close-ups you'll see what I mean. I know that there are 30 days in September but I always make 31 incase we used these again with a month that have 31 days. :P Before After Edited by user Saturday, September 15, 2012 11:45:16 PM(UTC)

So cute! Did you outline the cupcakes with markers?

Yup, I love using markers. I know the cricut can outline and I even have alot of markers for it but I like to do it by hand. It seems it faster if I just outline them myself. :D
