I bought the YS a few years ago and have used it for binding, it worked nicely. Today I tried the laninating and my small 3x5 item isn't coming out. I see no way of opening the machime to get it out. Can someone please help?

Sorry to be posting late, having had much time to check the MB since school started up again. Only thing I could think of is to put a piece of chipboard through the laminator to see if this will push it through. The laminator works with rollers so this may help. Never tried to take the machine apart.

I have had the similar issue - I've just used a little sheet I had already used and cut down. I think the chipboard idea my work to. Just something thick. Then when I can see it on the backside I use my tweezers to pull it though.

There is a screw on each of the four corners. Unscrew them and that will take the top off so you can get to the inside. The laminate may be stuck around the roller. Happened to me. Just be careful when unscrewing. The plastic that the screws are in could crack and it is a known problem according to PC.

Thank you, ladies. I finally got through to 1-800 and found out about the tiny screws on the bottom. It's working now.
