About a year ago, I bought a set of the long Cuttlebug plates from a store going out of business. I've just started using them, but I don't have a long rubber mat to use with them. Does anyone know if there is a bigger rubber mat available that can be used when cutting long dies or several dies together?
Thanks, Dee

I don't think you need the rubber mat unless you're trying to emboss with a cutting die. I've been able to cut with dies and emboss with plates using just my A, B, & C Plates.
If you absolutely need a longer rubber mat, you could put 2 shorter ones end to end. You may also be able to find some of the rubber plumber's gasket that others have used. I think they get it from Home Depot or similar stores. I'm also not sure what sizes it comes in so don't know if that would really work.

Spellbinders has a 12 1/2 x 2 7/8 tan embossing pad and also a 12 x 12. I read where the person cut the 12 x 12 into any size that was needed(therefore you can cut it in half if you wanted to). Edited by user Sunday, September 02, 2012 5:39:36 PM(UTC)

I wanted to cut a lot of dies at one time and just wondered if a bigger mat was available. I'll check that out. I did try using the two smaller ones and that also worked well.
