That has happened before.
Go to the FAQ under the rewards site...they touch on that issue.

I believe that one came out before the rewards program started, so it won't have points. I didn't see it on the list. If you go to the rewards homepage and click on How to earn points it will give you a list of the cartridges and how many points they are worth. Hope this helps.

Thanks, I thought is was an older cart but the date on the back was 2011 and it is in a new plastice box so wasn't sure.
