I want to attempt a shape card but I'm never clear on how to get the layers the right size unless I try to place the layer over the base and try to make it match (very time consuming and I'm thinking there is a much easie way). I'm not clear how to do this since I usually stretch the shape to the size I want with the arrows.
Any tips out there....sometimes I do need things in baby steps :.) but I try.

When you choose the size for your card, all the layers should come out the same size so that they fit the card. You can change the size right underneath where your overlay is. Just click on the right or left depending on if you want it bigger or smaller. If you know that you want your card to be 5X4, just change the width and height in the right hand box under where it says X & Y
If you stretch your card to the size you want, you will need to do the same for all the layers.

You can place all your images/layers on the mat and then draw a selection box around them and then use the arrow handles to resize them all at once. Then copy and paste them onto different mats if needed before cutting.
To draw the selection box, place the cursor outside the group of images and click your mouse, hold it and drag it until the entire group is in the boundaries of the box.

Thanks. I tried the first way but for some reason (and it could very well be me...lol), the image layers didn't come the same size.
I worked with Sraplette's suggestion and it turned out. It takes a little trial and error with printing to make sure the layers are really right but it worked for my need.
Thanks so much ladies for coming to my rescue with suggestions.

I didn't know we could resize them all at once! Wonderful, this will save me much time!
