So it is updating as it appeared to be stuck? When it comes to the content, it takes a good while as sometimes it might appear to be stuck.

What gets me is I have to keep adding the security code multiple times. UGH!!

How long has it been total since you have been updating? Depending on the last time you updated, it might take one to two hours from start to finish.

ok I have been I updated earlier today then check to see the new CTMH Cart was on it was not,
So I check my G# and it was 0240 and When I talked to PC today she said 0244 so I updated again ( yea dumb thing to do) now it is just stuck on the downlaoding Data File 3 of 3 and 100% and not going anywhere.
Is it safe to unplug or just leave it and see what comes? I hate to leave the computer and G on all night.
Why are the codes back?

If desire, you can exit out of c sync, wait until you see the welcome screen on the g before you disconnect the G from your computer. Check your build and hopefully it went through. If it did not, then you can try it again and make sure your G is connected to an electrical outlet. Let us know the outcome.

Yaaayyyyy!! Your G is updated! Congrats! Thanks for letting us know! :)

I WISH I can do something with the codes, BigGrin the security warnings and the slowness of this site! Hopefully, after the site has been tweaked, things will get better and I hope it does not take as long as it did last time!

I thought I lost my gypsy as did many others on this forum. After many days of tears and threats to throw the machine out, I decided to take the calmer approach. It took four days, many hours and tons of reading this forum to finally get through to the gypsy. This morning at 10:32 I decided to try one last time. I plugged the G directly into my hard drive(I was using a hub previously) and did the same thing I had done all the other times. After 1 1/2 hours, I came back to the G to discover it WORKED!!!!! I turned the G off and on about 3 times and each time I had all my carts on it. BUT-when I tried to upload new carts the G told me to upgrade. I am afraid to, so now I will upload the new carts to the Craft Room and use my Gypsy with the carts on it now. Maybe it was the hub that did it, I do not know, but I just want everyone to know that I also turned off my virus software, reinstalled the Cricut Sync and restarted my computer before I attempted anything. Myabe some day I will get brave and attempt to upgrade, but for now I am happy just to have my gypsy back!!! Good luck to all who are still going through this and remember-You are not alone!!!Wub
