I would like to know before I plunk down over $30 for this cartridge if the Imagine cartridges or images I guess this would be, will work in my Expressions 2. Anyone know? I don't care about the printing of the colors but I really want the steampunk images of gears and such. This cartridge (and JT) are the only cartridges for adults without small children.

If I understand your question, the answer is that the Imagine cartridges have a different shape and plug than the regular carts. That's how PC got us to invest in yet another machine ;). I don't know if you can even cut the imagine shapes on the original machines via a Gypsy (not counting Expression2 -- don't know anything about it). Keep doing your research though. There are lots of smart people on this board. I hope that this helps.

Sorry that I did not see your question before now. No, the colors and patterns cartridges, like Industrial Glow, will NOT work with any machine besides the I. The color and patterns cartridges are only used to flood fill other "outline" images with, well, colors and colored patterns.
Now, you should be able to cut the outlined shape of the images from JT. JT contains images, as well as colors and patterns. If you purchase JT and attempt to cut with it, via CCR or using your G, you will only be able to cut the images from the cart.
This is a good excuse to purchase an I, right?
