Mine did the same thing the other day-I was using the craft room. I restarted my computer and my machine and that seemed to fix it in the moment. But the machine wasn't responding in other ways. Thank you. I figured out what the problem was. The last thing I cut (and the first time I used it on my Cricut) was glitter paper. It must have destroyed the (almost new - aargh!) blade because I tried a new one just for the fun of it and problem solved.
