cricut markers in the Cricut Expression2

cut the images after using the markers? I'm not using my computer just my machine. I don't find a load paper, repeat last

BTT.
I don't have an E2, so I'm not much help. I have used CCR and would make a mat layer for the drawing and one for the cutting. This way I can make sure the two are overlapped the way I would like them to be. Since you are using the machine, I'm not sure which would be the best way to go about it. Cutting first or writing first...

You should be able to use the Multi-tool feature on the E2. You'll find that in the Settings menu under the Apply All button. (Click the Settings button, press the right arrow twice, then click the first button on the 2nd row.)
At that screen click the 4th button in the top left section. That's the multi-tool. Press the Save button, then the Home button.
Then place your image on the virtual mat, insert your pen, load the mat and click the Cut Settings button.
Select Pen from the 2nd drop down menu. (I'm not sure whether the Pen option is there as a default or whether I added it. If you don't have it then you'll need to add it yourself.)
Press Cut.
Don't unload your mat. Just change the pen for the blade, change your cut settings back to the blade and press Cut again.

Thanks for the detailed instructions. Don't really have the hang of this blog yet. Tried your suggestion and it works until I want to cut again with the blade. Can't find how to change from pen to blade setting without the image moving. If you reread this and have time could you elaborate.

Also, it helps to put a piece of scrap paper under the pen in case of gravity while you are changing it (then remove it before drawing) lol.

Here is how I do it and I've had great success this way: Load paper and draw image with the marker. Then hit "Load Paper" again. It will move the paper back to the starting point. CHange out the marker with the blade and then hit the "Repeat Last" button.

Not sure about anyone else...but I have found a smoother cut if I use blade first, then do my markers. Using this method, I'm not trying to cut wet paper. HTH
