I am interested in using the markers to write verse in cards. I like the Calligraphy cart. Some of the letters seem to be very thick. Any suggestions on using markers for verse and maybe a good cart for this?

All of the fonts are made for cutting, not drawing. (I've been requesting a cartridge like this for years now). However, many of the fonts, like those on calligraphy will fill in if you draw them small enough. Another thing some people do is draw the outlines and then go back and color them in.

Oh, a font like that would be great! I'm with you.

I am using my markers to make signs for Family Bingo at my daughters school. I am having a problem with the rollers that go across the page to keep the paper still. The rollers roll right through the wet marker and I end up with a striaght line of marker through my sign. Does anyone know a way to keep this from happening?

LadyBug, I would email ProvoCraft and they get back to you within 24 hours or so. I've had several questions over the years, AND it serves as proof of communication should you need it. Doesn't matter if your machine is out of warranty, they will help you trouble shoot. You can always call, also.
It sounds like you might have traces of adhesive on the rubber rollers that's pulling the ink down. I was told to do a thorough cleaning every few months by vacuuming (with an attachment) and wiping parts down (I use a baby wipe, and have used them to clean my rollers too). Got my Expr. when it first came out, and have cleaned it tons of times. If your machine is still new in warranty, I'd wait to see what PC says. HTH

In reply to original post, why not try the Cricut Gel Pens for finer details. I just got some, but haven't used them yet. I would think they would write with a much finer line. Good Luck.

I'm thinking also that the gel pens would be the way to go. Agree about a font/shape cart that is just for use with pens. Mary

Agree about a font/shape cart that is just for use with pens. Mary Tags, Bags, Boxes & More 2 has phrase "cuts" that are meant to be used with pens.
