Hi everyone! I saw in the DVD that you can cut shapes out of photos (ie. cut a heart around 2 people in the photo) but I can't seem to figure out how to line everything up to make this happen! Any tips or directions on how to do this?

Somebody used this method called the Hinge method to cut out printouts. Maybe this would help, heres a link to youtube.

Also you could try Cricut craft room - as you can place the heart where you want to on your screen mat and then you would know where to put your photo on your cricut mat.

Use the arrows to take your blade to the center of your photo then select the image of the shape you want to cut. Good Luck.

After you move the blade to the center of the cut, you have to press the Center Point button so your Cricut knows that is where you want the center of the image to be. Otherwise, when you select the image/size and press cut, the blade will start the cut at that point instead of centering it.
