Hi everyone...Spring is around the corner. I thought I would share how I use my cricut expression in the classroom. Now I'm not a teacher but my friend is. So every 6 weeks I make or help her create her boards. Last year, we did butterflies. The year before, we did bugs. Now her classroom has no windows so we try and make it bright. :D The cricut cartridges I used were: For the butterflies: gypsy wanderings, home decor, picturesque, hannah montanna, and serenade For the flowers and leaves: walk in my garden, potpourri basket, home decor, and accent essentials I know there were more cart. but I can't remember. The font I used w/ the butterflies was cutting up The font I used w/ the bugs was tear drop daniwakeley attached the following image(s):

Thanks! :)
I'll gladly help anyone...especially when I'm bored. I love flowers, too. This year, I might do an arbor with vines running though it and 3d flowers. I haven't decided yet. I have 3 more weeks to figure that out. :D

Be sure and post it if you do. This was amazing and I'm sure your next project will be too. If you ever want to come to Oklahoma you can come decorate my 5th grade reading lab! (Or I might steal your ideas and do this to liven the place up for spring)! Thanks so much for sharing!

I will eventually. I have many more pictures of different boards that I finished like I have an ocean one, city one, a jungle one (I made before I got a cricut so I dunno if it will count)a dog one, a western one, and a penguin one...but I didn't want to fill up this here board with all my creations yet. I'll spread them out I think.:D You can totally steal my ideas. I won't tell anyone :P and thanks again :) Edited by user Monday, February 27, 2012 8:10:01 PM(UTC)

Wonderful job. When I first bought my cricut I thought of bulletin boards. But I haven't used it for a single one! You may be the inspiration to get me going on that - Thank you If you were looking to share your time and your cricut, libraries, daycares, senior centres, hospitals may all be interested . . .

How wonderful! The students must have loved this. What a shame to be in a room with no windows. I wouldn't survive.

Wow! Absolutely beautiful! Thank you for sharing. I cannot imagine the amount of time that went into the wall :) I teach 4th, don't have windows, and only half-walls... try that one on for size lol. I would love to see your other walls and boards, they are quite inspiring :)

I'm glad everyone is enjoying them. :) In a way, I guess the no windows is a good thing. The kiddos will be less distracted when someone is walking by. My friend has been in this room for 5 years now and the principle decided to merge 1st and 2nd grade together so there was an extra room so she could of gotten a room with windows this year but she kept her old room. I think its fine by me more area for bulletin boards. :) Edited by user Saturday, March 03, 2012 3:38:14 AM(UTC)

You know, you have a business there :) Offer bulletin boards to schools, libraries, and teachers; I bet you would keep really busy if you wanted to.

:D Larmabee also mentioned that as well. I might have to try and see what comes up. I think that would be one of my dream jobs.
