My mom passed away on Wednesday at 4:39 pm. She was surrounded by all 4 of her daughters and she went peacefully. I am back home for 2-3 days then back to michigan for her funeral. I am sure i owe someone something I just cant remember what or who. Please let me know. I think I will be swap free for awhile until I can get my head back on straight. I did get my "s" box right before i had to leave to be with my mom. Thank you so much!!

LindaK...I am so sorry for your loss. Please know you and your family are in my prayers. Though this does not make it easier, it is good that you were with her and could say goodbye. Another flower has bloomed in Heaven. May God bless, comfort, and keep you. Please PM if you need to talk.

Just wanted you all to know, I am hosting the Winner Takes All swap this week. We are playing for butterflies. This was my original post, some 23 days ago. Linda has received her package, I checked. She lost her mother and just has not posted, understandably. I sent her what I think was a nice package, and more than was required. I am sorry to hold this swap up, and if you think I should step aside, and let you all get back to playing together, I will. I am sorry to put this all out here. I tried to find the host for this swap...no luck. I know I am new, and if no one wants to or truly cannot grant for me, I can step aside. I have read all the things that have been posted lately about newbies and flakers, and though I dislike being painted with the same brush, I can understand wanting to protect yourselves, as I, too, have been flaked on in just the few short weeks I have participated in the swaps on this MB. I do not want to hold up or stop what was a long running swap, until I came along, anyway. So, if whomever is the host, or one of you who have been playing, wants to tell me what I should do, please speak up. It is a little disheartening not to have been granted yet, and I just do not want to hold this up if you all would grant for someone you know better. I am hoping you are just too busy to bother, and it is not because I am new. Thank you for taking the time to read this, and please do not take offense. I just did not know if a 3 week plus wait to be granted was normal or not. As I said, I can step aside if someone else would be granted, just let me know... Thanks and Blessings!

I received a wonderful package today from scrappydew full of too many items to list...some will be a real challenge to figure out what to use them on, as they fit with several different ideas. Thank you. the Grab Bag is also very appreciated, and is the very definition of a grab bag....again, so many uses for so many little bits and bobs. I am going to be very busy!!
