I was downstairs in an unfinished basement & hated being downstairs. So moved up & took over the 'formal' dining room. I love it now! Only thing I would like to get done is put recessed lighting in. Right now there is a central light, which is cute, but not the best light for crafting! Here are some pics of how it is coming along so far! General view of the scrap room... My Cricut table (with CTMH stamps in the drawers next to it)... Any questions just ask! What do you think so far? Will be much better when there is better lighting in there & some of my work up on the walls, but I am really loving it so far.

I know what you mean about a basement. When we moved to this house 11 years ago I told my family I didn't want to share a space in the basement either so I took over the formal living room. Already have a family room so who needs a living room. Its my favorite spot in the house. We put in several kitchen cabinets to store my stuff and two tables in the center of the room. One side for dry crafting and the other side for painting or decopaging.

Nice space - how do you like the horizontal paper holders? How do you organize your paper? I will be setting up a new scraproom in an attic. I use vertical paper holders right now, but I'm thinking about using horizontal paper holders so I can see the paper that I have better.

Some room that I have seen, they put a fancy chandelier above the desk or middle of the room. I wonder if you have seen them too. Your room would look good with one and I would have one if I had an upstairs room. That is lots of nice storage with all the cubes.

Nice, thanks for sharing. Oh and an Ott light is expensive, but with a Michael's coupon, no so bad. But oh so worth it.

Fabulous space. TFS I have a nice space in the attic. Wish I could be downstairs, but we use our dining room at least once a week!
