I made this layout in honor of the day I found out my son really could read. My son has high functioning autism and I had trouble working with him. In fact, it was impossible to do a thing with him. Then, one day at the book fair, he wanted these books so I immediately bought them. When we got him, he started reading them out loud. I had NO IDEA he could do this and tears sprang to my eyes. So, I wanted to make a layout remembering that day. This fly, title and arrows are from this cartridge.

This is such a cool layout. Thanks for the idea, I have a great pic of a book my son was reading and his "assignment" with it that I am going to try this out on.

Great LO and a very touching story. I am so happy that I ran across this as I have a dgs that has some learning disablities and I hope to find him something that will spark an interest. Thanks for not only sharing a great LO but for your son's story.
These are the stories that go on to help others if only just to accept things.
