Good morning ladies!

Woke up early today, it is really sunny and I thought it was later. When I went to bed last night it was 27*...brrrr. I wanted to turn the water on at the cottage for Katie this week but now I am wondering.

I am going to get on the old computer and order some more pics. Walgreen's has a 55% off coupon through today.

Other than that, I need to wipe off the back of the closet doors in the front hall because DH is going to paint them today. The band auction is tonight too, I will attent that with my sister.

Laurie, I see you headed to MI., your sister's? Enjoy your visit.

Good morning....

Pat, hope you were able to get the society tasks taken care of so you can start fresh today.

Paula, have fun with all those pictures. That will be a lot of scrapping. Glad Katie has a plan of action. I like the idea of cutting the design out of vinyl and putting on the wall before she gets a tatoo. She will find out if she really likes it for sure!

Lizzy, that is so sad about the girls family. It is almost like she doesn't have a chance. But it is ultimately up to her to make the positive changes in her life. What are you up to this weekend?

Last night I worked on the paperwork and got a good bit of it finished. The rest has to wait until I get some answers. So today has opened up for me. I do need to do some cleaning. It will be another beautiful day so I want to get outside. It is to be raining tomorrow. I don't know if I will go for a walk or maybe visit a cemetery. I have lots of photo requests so maybe I will choose one and head out.

So on that note, I do need to get dressed and get started! Have a great day!

good morning.. a beautiful day here, but it will only be in the 40's. However we will be 70ish all next week. They are saying the cherry blossoms are going to be earlier than expected.

Rhonda, sounds like you have a plan for today. Good luck at the cemetery. Society paperwork is in the mail, so that is off my plate. I do need to send an email to NEHGS in Boston, but that is a a 5 minute task.

My plan is to work on those 5 page kits on my list until they are done. I know if I just get started, I will keep going.

Paula, you are going to have plenty of pictures to scrap, but good idea to take advantage of the sale. I too, saw on FB, that Laurie was heading to MI.
Lizzy, I hope you have a good weekend.

Well, I am heading downstairs. I will pop in later to see how everyone is doing.

Well, I have another 170 pictures ordered. That pretty much takes care of 2011. I guess I am going to work back instead of forward. It was very challenging. I started when I got out of bed and between the old computer, walgreen's site, and the fact that the Comcast man cut our phone/internet line when he was working at the neighbors (grrrr...) I was about ready to cry.

I did take a two and a half mile walk with DH. His stride is so much bigger than mine so I have to work to keep moving fast. I try not to slow down his pace even though he doesn't mind.
Now to shower and get ready to go to the band auction. Fun!

Good evening...

It was another beautiful day here. I did go to a couple of cemeteries, spent about 3 hours. Got some photos for me and for others. It was a very nice day outside. I also got my paperwork completed AND the dusting is done!!! So that leaves tomorrow for crafting!

Hope everyone had a great day.

Pat, did you get the page kits completed?

Paula, you have a huge bunch of pictures to work on! WOW, but at least you have them ordered so you can get to work on them.

Hi friends. I have had a relatively productive day, but I haven't done anything on my list....sigh. I stayed in bed until noon, reading and dozing. Then, we went to lunch and then to Kohl's. I bought new cookie sheets, pizza pans, three new frying pans and a table cloth and table runner for the kitchen table. Terry bought some trousers and several new polo shirts. We had a 30% off coupon so it was a good deal. I've been trying to keep a pleasing tablecloth on the kitchen table just to keep it looking a bit more festive these days.

I've been wanting new cookie sheets, pizza pans, and some frying pans for awhile. My old cookie sheets have been driving me nuts only because they cannot go into the dishwasher. The old pizza pans have those vent holes in them and I don't like them because they make a mess on the counter. As for the frying pans, we recently tossed one away and I like having quite a few for when we prepare a large brunch.

I didn't look for anything for myself, but will likely go on-line and scope out a few things to order there. It's so much easier than looking in the stores.

Pat, it's interesting you said that about the scones. Now I'm wondering about that comment the woman at work said about how easy it was to make scones. She's kind of a "know-it-all" person who shoots her mouth off all the time, so now I'm wondering if her scones were really even that good! I don't recall eating one that day she brought them in, so I wouldn't even know. I do know that the ones I've had at some places seem to be awfully hard and I don't find that to be terribly appealing.

Paula, did the doctor say exactly what it is that Katie has wrong with her? And, your advice about the tattoo alternative was excellent. I'm not all about tattoos even though I know plenty of folks who have them...I think I'm just from that generation that didn't particularly approve of them.

Well, I think I'm going to see if I can whack out at least one of those stacks of writing. I did figure out my project for the social studies unit and I did figure out a plan for the math although tomorrow I will have to do some preliminary work for it (create some worksheets). Well, I'll have to create some items for the social studies unit, too. Anyway, it's the writing that's bringing me to my knees. If I could whack that out, I'd feel like a relatively free woman.

Everyone take care.....

Glad you had a nice day Rhonda and you got your work done!! BigGrin Glad you were able to get some pics that you were looking for!

I do have a bunch of pics. The ones I printed were all 2011!! We had a lot of big events this year!! I sat down and sorted them and put the year in order. (I had some pics I had already printed so I added those too) I have them all in a case, labled. When it is time to work on them I won't be confused.
Tonight I got back on the old computer and got almost another hundred pics ordered that are 2010. I did it until midnight cause that's when the offer expired. Nothing like a discount to motivate me!!!

My leg muscles are sore tonight from my walk. Crying
OH!! I went to the auction tonight and didn't win any bids. I stopped in at my sister's when I took her home and DH called me while I was there. He said a lady called from the auction to say I won a raffle!! (we left before they drew) I bought two dollar tickets for a raffle for a dollar tree. (a little tree with dollars on it) I now have a little tree with $100 on it. Woohoo! Oh, and the scrap book basket that I made cricut cuts for went for $170, hurray!

OK, with the time change, it's after two so I need to get to bed.

Hi Lizzy!

Here we are, posting together!

You sure had a good shopping day!! Glad you could replace some things that have been bugging you! That will feel good in the kitchen!
I am not a tablecloth person but I always like them on tables. Especially when they are pretty and make things a bit more festive like you said!
DN has never talked about a tattoo before but some of the kids on the trip had them and there were lots of places that did them in Africa and it was cheap! (there was one particular shop that the people that traveled there a lot knew was trustworthy) She wants to get a scripture along her scar!! (there is a whole story that goes with that, but it does make sense) Anyhow, who knows what she will end up doing.
The Dr. agrees that her appendix needs to come out. She also explained why they did not take it out in Africa. (too much inflammation, infection) Now she has to wait 4-6 weeks from her first surgery to have the second. (a balance between clearing up the inflammation and it not healing/scaring two much) So she pretty much explained everything we didn't understand. (first question...why didn't they just take it out to start with!!!) It did make us feel better about it all.

Hope you get through that stack of paper!!!

Off to bed now.

Lizzy, you made quite a haul at the store today. Hope you are able to knock out those writing assignments.

Paula, congrats on the dollar tree win! And WOW, your basket really went well. An awesome way to help a great cause! It does make sense now why they didn't take out the appendix while they were there earlier, thanks for the explanation. You have really been on a picture trek this week. Now you just have to get busy and get them all scrapped! Have fun!

Pat and Nancy, hope you have been having productive and fun weekends.

Hope Laurie is enjoying time with family.

I have no plans and nothing that needs done today so I am going to relax a bit, read the paper, with some coffee. Then I can't decide what I will work on first. I want to do some layouts and do some research. Decisions....decisions....decisions!

Will check in later.

Hello ladies!

Monday house today. It's dark and rainy. Confused

Nothing much exciting since yesterday. I did order 50 more pictures. Walgreen's has buy 25 get 25 free. Not as good as the last one but I am on a roll and am trying to do 3 more years.

Good moring!

Paula I am sorry I didn't check in and see you needed help. You should have called me, of course I was gone all day on Saturday. As far as deleting part of a shape you can't. You can delete a whole shape but not part of one. You could have welded something on it too if you wanted to. You really got a lot of pictures printed. Does Walgreens do a good job? I have never tried them. Congrats on your win! It's dark and rainy here too!

Pat did you get your page kits done? It sounds like your weather will be like ours this week. We will be flirting with 70 all week.

Rhonda I bet it was nice to get out on such a beautiful day! What did you end up doing yesterday? Did you get LO's and research done?

Lizzy I wish I had a 30% at Kohls. I only had a 20% this time and I needed a couple of things. Oh well. It wasn't a lot so it didn't make a huge difference. I like to shop online too. Did you get your stack of writing done?

Laurie I hope you are enjoying your visit to MI!

Well it is raining here but it will warm up. Later we will be at 70*. If I can get all the water off the tarp of the sandbox so it can start drying out we may get to use it later this week. We will see though as it has had a lot of moisture from the winter so it will take a while to dry up enough for the little ones to use.

Friday evening I bought an online course on using DSLR digital cameras. It was $82 but it will have new courses over the next 2 months. THere was an option that was only 47 and go's through just the basics and only lasted a month but I got the expanded course that will show how to take certain types of photos like nature, night time and macro among other things. It will also go into some post process too. I watched the first set and while some of it was review for me I learned some new things and he really explained how ISO, Aperture and Shutter speed all work together. I sort of knew but he explained it very well so now I also feel like I can use my camera in Manual mode. I am excited to go through the rest of the course. I started that on Friday and then finished on Sunday. I actually rewatched all of them on Sunday and took notes so I would remember it better and have something to fall back on.

Saturday I had my taxes done, we are fine there. I overpaid a little so that will be applied to next years taxes. I then ran some errands and then took my mom out for dinner and then took her to Walmart so she could look for a set of headphones for her TV so she wouldn't bother her roommate. I didn't get home until 8. It was a long day!

Good morning !! Beautiful day and going to be a beautiful week. 70's, with a slight chance of rain one day. Mid 60's today with probably some rain tonight, but it's just overnight.

Weekend was good. We went to the local home/garden show and talked to a contractor about some repair work on our stairs. This could be a big job, so will probably over-ride any other projects financially. We also talked to a pond guy and he is going to come out and give us some suggestions on ours. We need to re-do it and he will give us ideas based on our space. I loved what he did at the show with large boulders, which he said can be done with smaller ones and get the same look.

I finished 4 of the 5 page kits, but only pictures for one. No titles.. but I didn't know what I wanted to say.

Rhonda, I would have enjoyed walking the cemetery with you. I am hoping to walk this week in the neighborhood.

Today, I have 2 loads of laundry to do. I also need to send out about 4 society emails. And I am going to go through the partial page kits and see what I can pull to work on at the crop. I am hating that I might not be able to get in the yard this week because of prepping for the crop. We will see what happens. Maybe I can work in the yard instead of walking.

been working on this forever, so time to send it and get busy.

Pat it looks like you made good progress on your list! I didn't make any progress on mine. I also need to add more to mine. I have to get it done too since I am going to a crop on Saturday.

~ continue making all the cuts for the grad invites, I just need to cut the 2012 and I need to borrow my neighbors cart for that.

~ find some paper for the album I am putting Riley's senior pics in for his grad party. Decide how fancy I want to go with it. Also go through and see if I can find a couple more pics to fill the album.

~ cut paper for table tents

~ pick papers for 2 LO's to do on Saturday (if I have time after I make the invites)

~ get wallets printed for the invites

~ figure out what to bring for our potluck at the crop.

Good evening...

I thought I had posted this morning but I do not see itGlare Wonder were it went?

Pat, you continue to make progress. I know you are glad to have the unwanted books and magazines hauled off. Hope you can work out the work on the steps. It is always nice to get home improvement projects done. I wish you could have joined me in the walk in the cemetery. I enjoy just reading the old stones - there are lots of stories there!

Nancy, I know you will knock off your list as well. I know you will be glad to have the invites completed this weekend at the crop. That is so nice that you found a good program to help you with your camera. It is nice to be able to re-watch segments to reinforce what you learn.

Paula, now that you have so many pictures printed, I hope you can keep them in order and get them scrapped quickly. How did Monday house go? We had the dark and rainy day on Sunday. Today it was a beautiful 72* day. Tomorrow may hit 80*!!!

Yesterday I ended up on research and picture scanning etc.

good evening.... Rhonda, we will also have 70's this week and getting close to 80. Jim & I discussed putting the gazebo cover up this weekend, but I think we will wait a few more weeks. Dave (the electrician) will be here Sunday to put in outlets on the deck and install 2 bathroom lights. I still need to get Ron (the handyman) to install my counter tops in this room, so that I can get the room finished up.
The stair job is going to be a major project, as it involves replacing 2 flights of stairs.

I worked a bit on page kits today, but ended up in the yard and also looking for some stuff in the shed. I needed to find doll clothes patterns, which got put out there when we emptied the barrister cases. This afternoon I went to J's with my 50% cpn and got batting. Pretty sure there is a tea cosy order in my future and I want to be prepared.

I wonder how Lizzy is doing?? I hope she got her list taken care of, or at least a major dent in it.

Nancy, do you have some ideas for your potluck contribution? We have pretty good food at out crop, but it is part of the fee. The hotel provides our breakfasts. I always take snacks, but she provides some also.

Hello!

Nancy, your online class sounds really good! I am glad you are liking it so far. I took a photography class once and it was like trying to learn Greek. I think with your interest in photography and your attention to detail, you will really benifit from them.
As far as developing at W's, it's fine for me. I don't see the details or color differences that you do. I have done Shutterfly and Walgreens I think they are both fine.
Thanks for the info on CDS. That's kind of what I figured out. I could not find my directions for it and just gave up and tried things.
Today we put what we cut out on her bedroom wall, not exactly what she invisioned (the way it went together) but she likes it.

Pat, you sure have a lot of projects in the works!! Are the stairs outside or in?
Yes, it's probably a good idea to wait on the gazebo even though it seems nice now. Katie wants to spend a couple days at the cottage and I thought maybe we could turn the water on but everyone I talked to said it's too early, we will still have a freeze or two.
My sister has been busy making American Girl size doll clothes for her DGD, is that the size of your patterns? She is really enjoying it and we found a lady that sells clothes that she is buying the cutest shoes from, really completes the outfits.

Rhonda, I already put all the 2011 pics in order in a case. I am doing the same with 2010 as I develop them. I get confused so easy so I am doing it right away.

I hope Laurie is enjoying her time in MI.

Lizzy, hope your not buried beneath that huge to-do list!!

OK, off to bed. Monster house tomorrow. (Katie is going to help as much as she can) Then I am doing a dinner for 50. Actually there is another person in charge of cooking and I am in charge of setting up, serving and clean up. We have a college choir concert at church and we feed them dinner.

Hi friends...I didn't really get much done on my huge to-do list. I didn't get to the laundry; really about all that I got done was two of my writing stacks got graded! WOO-HOO!! I slept pretty well and that's good.

Here's my list from last week:

My to do list (by the end of Sunday):
--plan my next math topic BigGrin
--plan my social studies project BigGrin
--plan a project for idioms BigGrin
--plan a project for multiple-meaning words BigGrin
--plan a writing for response to literature BigGrin
--grade some papers Mellow only one more stack to grade
--have Terry take some laundry upstairs so it can be put away Angry
--work on more laundry once there is room in the laundry area Angry
--move scrapbook stuff upstairs Laugh
--move large tub into garage and put quilts into it Angry
--call this guy in Houston about working on Sarah's condo BigGrin
--decide about working in April and taking time off in May Laugh
--decide about postponing trip to visit my mom until May and going to Houston instead Laugh

So now, my list is this:

--grade last stack of writing
--put laundry away
--work on more laundry
--move scrapbook stuff upstairs
--move large tub into garage and put quilts into it
--decide which days I will take off in May since I am working in April for another teacher
--decide about trip to visit my Mom

OK...that sure doesn't look as bad as it did last week! WHEW

Tomorrow, I am finally getting my hair done. I can't believe how long it has been....I think I last got it done at the end of December. It's gotten so long. I'm growing out my bangs...so it will all be one length. The bangs are just about past the worst of it all.

Terry is gone this week and when he left this morning via taxi, he apparently left the garage door wide open. My neighbors whom I barely know, apparently kept an eye on my open door all day long. They met me when I got home tonight and told me they had watched it all day long, every 15 minutes. They are either Indian or Pakistani - maybe Bengali - very nice and friendly - I was so touched by their attentiveness - I think tomorrow I will buy them a bouquet of flowers to show them how much I appreciate their caring. I don't know what else to do. I could buy some food, but I need to be very careful of dietary restrictions, i.e. pork or any sort of meat issues. I could make some homemade cookies which would be far more personal. I'm way more touched by homemade goodies than flowers. What are your thoughts? Or perhaps even a loaf of homemade bread in the bread machine? I wouldn't use any animal products - vegetable oil instead of butter. Thoughts, ladies?

I didn't even tell Terry although I can't imagine what he was thinking? I'm sure he was running late.

OK...I've got to hit the hay here.

Tomorrow we have our royal visit for Math. I hope I don't get the mean people again. I got them visiting my room for the Language Arts visit. It was so awful, I could have cried after they left.

Morning ladies!!

Wow Lizzy!! you crossed a chunk off that list!! Good job!

As far as the gift for your neighbor, I think flowers would be a nice gesture. I agree that homemade treats are nice but not knowing them that well and their restrictions, I think flowers are safe.

Heading out early for monster house, hope everyone has a nice day.

Morning friends...

Paula, hope monster house goes quickly. But don't let Katie over do it! You do have a good grip on the pics, so they will stay in order.

Lizzy, you got a lot crossed off your list. It seems manageable now. One day last week I came home to find my garage door open. Thankfully nothing amiss, but kind of scared me. I do not have any neighbors that could see my garage door so it was totally open to anything. I'm not sure if I just didn't hit the button hard enough or what happened. So again I now sit and wait for it to be totally closed before leaving the drive. I agree with Paula, flowers may be the best so as not to be a dietary problem. I think anything will show how much you appreciated their concern. How great to have neighbors like that.

Pat, glad you were able to enjoy out of doors yesterday. Did you locate the pattern you were looking for? And it is good to be thinking ahead and being ready for the possible cozy order and having everything on hand.

Nancy, hope you are getting some of our beautiful weather. We are to be in the mid to upper 70's or higher all week. I know it will be so nice when the weather allows the little ones to be out of doors each day. Good for them and good for you!

Good morning!

Rhonda did you go to your hydrobics class last night too? What are you up to today? Yes we are getting that nice weather. Today will be in the mid 60's but then the rest of the week will be in the 70's. We will be breaking some records this wee and through the weekend. I would like to go open the sandbox to help it dry up but I am not sure I want to risk any kitties using it as a littler box. It may be too wet for them to bother it though.

Pat that stairs project does seem like a big job, especially if it is inside. Ditto on Paula's question. Inside or out? I am not sure what I want to bring. I often make a pasta salad but I thought about some fresh fruit this time. This crop is free so this way we get a nice meal while we are there. Sometimes we send out an email about what everyone is bringing so we get a good variety.

Paula that is smart getting your pictures in order. I like to do that right away too

Lizzy even if you didn't get all of your list done you made a big dent in it. I hope you don't get the same people tomorrow for your royal visit either. As far as the gift I think the loaf of bread or possibly the cookies would be a nice touch and if you sent the recipe with it they would know what is in it. Of course if you are unsure about dietary restrictions then the flowers would be good. I would think that bread would be pretty safe made with veggie oil though.

I did go through my paper for my few LO's I want to do. I don't have a plan for them but I at least have the paper chosen. Maybe I will go through my CTMH idea books and see what I can find. I also decided I will use the paper scraps from making the invites for the 8x8 album I am putting together of Riley's senior pics. I am just going to stick with some strips or small pieces of paper just to accent the pictures a bit and add a little something to the page.

I also need to call my bank and then call my tax lady to give the final 2 pieces of info that she needs to finish up my taxes. SO I need to do that and then look through the idea books at rest time.

good afternoon.. well I started a post earlier and then deleted it. I realized I needed to stay focused on what needed to be done today. I was thinking last night, as I made a list for today, that I have way too many things going on and many of them interrupt each other. Some I just can't finish before another *to-do* pops up. Many things are interrupted by family *things*, unplanned events, etc, etc.
Anyway, I keep plugging along. What gets done will get done.

I opened windows today in the house. It will be mid to upper 70's all week. I would go out on the deck, but the only thing there is a small table and a couple chairs.
Paula, I think we would be ok putting the gazebo cover up. It will just not take the weight of snow (especially a heavy wet one)and we could have snow still.
The stairs are the inside ones. We have 2 sets. Not sure how long it will take to replace each one. I guess we will know more next week. And then there is the cost.

Lizzy, I think you did really well on your list, considering all that was on it. I hope the royal visit today goes well.
Nancy, you did also. When your crop is over, you will be through with a major part of the Graduation projects.
Rhonda, I really want to work on research. Jim said we need to plan a trip to KY (actually not far from Laurie) and if I want to go to SLC, we can do that also. I also want to go to CA, but that involves more time and planning in order to connect with family.
Dryer just went off and this load needs to be hung up. I will be back later

Hi friends...I don't know what to think of the Royal Visit today. I was a bit miffed at a question the Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction asked of two of my students. It was a "trick" question and neither of them could respond correctly. I don't know if I will get marked negatively for that or not. Therefore, I don't know how to respond to it. I'm confused about why she even asked the question since it was a tricky question. Was she trying to see what I had taught them? Or what? No matter, it doesn't seem like it was a fair question. Hence, once again, I was upset for the major part of the day. (I am such a lucky person!)

On the other hand, I did get to the hairdressers this afternoon and was able to pamper myself a little bit. I'm amazed how much my bangs have grown out since I decided to grow them out in August/September/October...whenever it was. I would guess the next time I get my hair cut my hair will all be one length. Whoopee!!

Pat, you sound like you have quite a few trips in the works. Are all of them for genealogy work? If so, you will have much to sort out when you are finished!

I'm leaning toward cooking some food tomorrow, but flowers certainly would be very easy. I need to check into some dietary restrictions...mainly because I knew some people from India and they were strict vegetarians, yet at work today the KIA woman told me that Hindis merely don't eat beef products. Hmmmmm......

Well, I'm going to finish eating dinner and get to the bit of work I brought home.

good evening.. Lizzy, sorry about the day following the royal visit. But at least hairapy made you feel better.
I have no ideas for a TY for your neighbors. I will say it was very nice of them to keep an eye on your garage. I would probably go with the flowers, since it is safe. But food is always nice to receive.

I worked on more things to take to the crop. I feel like I am wasting time inside, when the weather is so nice outside and my yard is in such sad post winter shape. I have a pile of small branches that I have gathered each time I walk up to the compost pile. They need to be cut and put in a yard waste can for pick up. I have 2 bushes that need to be cleaned up under. There are tons of leaves under them. Looks awful.

I am not sure when we might be taking any of the trips. They would all be for research, but CA would also include a visit with my Mom, as well as my sister & bil. Jim told me tonight he would also like to go back to VT, just because it is a beautiful state. Although my great grandfather was born there, so I could do more research there.

Well, I am going to trim up another batch of pictures, pick some papers and try to put together another set of page kits. These are for the society album and just need a title and dates.

Hello everyone!

I just spent over an hour catching up. You guys have been busy!

Today was a gorgeous day. We reached 74* and it's still 64*. I hope it stays like this. It was nice to have the windows open. Took a nice long walk and then sat on my glider on the porch with Sadie at my feet...A perfect day! More tomorrow!

Pat, that's very exciting that you are a part of the online magazine! Maybe you'll sell some cozies because of it!

So many of you had hairapy recently. I had a good hair day today LOL

Paula, you asked me a question and I don't remember what it was. You are really going to town on printing pics!

Lizzy, I sure hope things settle down for you at work.

Rhonda, are you taking pics of headstones for people? I may have missed that.

Nancy, you want a card challenge? How about this...

Card Challenge - Make a Welcome Spring card and send it to someone who could really use a cheerful card. Post your card by Sunday night and make sure it gets in the mail on Monday. Would you all like a new challenge on Monday, posted by Sunday night?

I had a really nice visit with my family. I got to see my Nephew's 1st house. So proud of him and his fiance. They have themselves a really nice house in a nice neighborhood and they are working hard getting things done. I did not eat as well as I've been eating and I felt a bit sluggish yesterday and today. I did only gain 0.8 lb

Well, I'd better end my book now.

Oh wait, let me do a challenge list...

-Go for a 1 mile out, 1 mile back walk

-Laundry

-Start working on invitations for Haley's shower (June 3...plenty of time but want to start)

-Now that I've seen Josh and Haley's house, start the 12x24 canvas for their bedroom for a housewarming gift

-Check out the new job listings and apply to at least 5

That's all for tomorrow!

Later!

Evening all...

Laurie, I will try to get a card made for the challenge. I know just the person to send it to! We are enjoying the same warm weather here. Sure hate having to sit inside at work all day. Yes, Laurie, I have volunteered to take photos of headstones at various cemeteries in my county for those that request them for their personal use. I find it quite interesting and I like the idea of helping others in their research.

Pat, I, too have lots of yard work that needs to be done. My hyacinths are blooming now and they are beautiful. But I need to get the leaves etc out of the bed so they will be even more pretty! Hope you can work in at least a few of those trips. And find some great bit of information to keep you going!

Lizzy, doesn't hairapy make you feel great!!??!! Sorry about the frustrating Royal Visit. Hope things get on a better track from here on.

I had a very good day. My great aunt stopped by with a box for me. Inside was my 3xgreat grandmothers dresser set. My gr. aunts decided that I should be the one to have it as it was to go to my grandmother, and then to my mother, both of whom have already passed. So now I have the privilege of holding it for my DGD! Then tonight I went to a music performance at the college. It was a combination of all the county junior and high school bands doing a combined performance. Both DGD's were parts of the band. It was awesome!

good morning ... another beautiful one here also Rhonda. I think I am going to tackle the pile of branches by the pond and then maybe the leaves under the bushes. I was going to make the cherry scones, but changed my mind.

Hydrobics and a walk, that will be great. I need to get Jim moving again.

Laurie, I will try to do your challenge. I need to keep working on things for the crop, but I have a lot of spring scraps handy, and card ideas I am getting from Pinterest.
Today I am going to get 4 page kits ready if it kills me. They are the society album pages and are very simplistic. Matted pictures with a title and dates. Should take me about 30 minutes to do the cuts and put them through the Xyron.

Going to get busy here. It is already 62.

Good afternoon!

LEt's see what I remember I skimmed it fast since I have a lot to do yet but wanted to stop by.

Pat I have my windows open too! I am loving that! Yes I hope to get a lot done at the crop on Saturday. We will have one more crop if not 2 before the grad party so I will still have more time if I need it. I hope you are getting those 4 page kits done!

Lizzy so sorry about that visit. I can't see how they could hold you accountable if they are going to ask trick questions to your student what aren't used to them. Glad hairapy made you feel better. I need it again!

Laurie I am on for your card challenge and I know who is getting the card too! I may try to make 2, one for my stash and one to send. Even if you didn't have hairapy a good hair day is just as good. When we start having bad hair days all the time that is when we need hairapy!!!

RHonda that is just great that you got the dresser set. I have my grandma's and just cherish it. A beautiful day for a walk!

Paula how have you been?

Well I have almost finished my bills. I had some extra things to do with figuring my estimated taxes for this year so I am sure I am taking enough out. Then of course the few extra once a year bills like the boat insurance and homeowners insurance. I still need to wrap a gift for the little one who has her birthday today. I wanted to go through the LO idea books but I don't think that will happen. Maybe tonight while I watch TV. I need to plan GREEN projects for green day on Friday. Maybe a green collage on green paper. OK I better get back to what must get done at rest time on my list...well OK really just that gift but I want to get more than that done.

Nancy, you have been productive today. I have not worked on the kits. What I did do, was get out to the yard. I got all the branches, trimmed and into the cans. I also worked on the leaves in the beds. It really felt good to be outside in the fresh air. I still need to get more leaves from under the bushes, but it will be nice again through the weekend.

I will work on the page kits this evening. I need to find some burgundy CS for one set. I know I have it, just need to find it. I am so aggravated I didn't get all my paper sorted during the cold months. But I just saw that paper the other day, so have a pretty good idea which Iris box it is in. Hope to find it and cut titles tonight.

Time to get back to work. I probably shouldn't have taken a break.

Hello!

Pat, I worked in my yard a little bit today too. I have some Pinterest ideas I want to try so I have to get the yard prepared.

Well, I did my challenge card today. This is the first hand drawn and hand painted card I've ever made. It's so simple but I love it! Not sure who I am sending it to yet though.

It's another gorgeous day here! 77* right now. I can see green buds on my lilac tree. Yeah!

Later!
