If I am cutting paper with my Cricut Cake what cutting blade should I use and do I need a different housing for this blade?

You can use either a regular blade or the deep cut blade and you will need the blade housing unit for whichever blade you are going to use. The blade housing unit for the Cake doesn't have the blade depth setting adjustments on it.

I am glad to see this question posted. My DD purchased to cake for me for Christmas because it is red  and I think that I need to change the blade. I tried to use one of the blades that I have for my other machine and it is a lot smaller. I tried to put the housing in from my other machine and it's a lot larger. I don't want to do anything wrong, and maybe ruin it - can anyone tell me if they have done this and if it's worked. I'd love to be sure before I do anything I shouldn't. Help!
