Sometimes when I am using my create with my gypsy, it starts cutting then stops. All the keys on the create flash, then go off, then on again, and it stops cutting. The message on my gypsy tells me to power off the cricut then power on again and try again. I am cutting centura pearl card my crafters companion. I have tried eith the pearl side up, then with the pearl side down. I have had the same problem with mirri card. Is the problem that the card is too thick? Should I be using the deep blade and housing? I am just about to try again with scrapbook paper.
Please can you help me.

I think I may have solved it. I reduced the size of my design (from cindy loo) to just over 5 inches square and it worked! Before I had it set at 5.65 inches. Was that the problem. If I had wanted a mat for it that would have been too large I suppose. I am going to bed now but will try again tomorrow by cutting again with a mat as well.
