I originally bought the small round KK last year and tried it but wasn't sure I liked the look of the knit. I recently decided to try to knit with it again, and made a scarf. Then I thought it would be a great way to use up some of my yarn stash and make scarves for Christmas gifts for next year. Then I wanted to try the long looms. I borrowed the set from a friend but I don't like them as well as the round.

I had 3 50% off Js coupons this week, so I purchased the large (purple) round KK loom with one. I am making a hat for myself and am very happy with how quickly it is coming along in my spare time. I also purchased the Authentic Knitting Board 10" and 28" looms. Those are the wooden ones with the metal pins. I really like these ones better than the KK long looms, and can't wait to get some things made with them. I had also purchased the sock loom last week at Js with a coupon. I think I am set for looms! Can't wait to complete a project in double knit with the KB loom. I started a cotton dishcloth on the 10" loom.

Has anyone else tried the KB looms?

I have tried the sock loom-- but I didn't use it for socks. I used it to do a project for a doll and wanted to use a small yarn. It was great but took lots longer. BigGrin

I did use a stylus to make it easier to wrap.

I am planning on getting more from them because I like the closeness of the pegs. I do still prefer my KK, but these are great too!

I started a dishcloth on the 10" KB loom, but I am going back to my KK scarf on the round loom and will complete that before I continue on the 10" loom. I don't really like having too many projects going at once. After the dishcloth, I am hoping to get socks started on the sock loom. Although, I could see myself making the slippers on the 10" loom first since it is winter. I guess I will know when I get there! lol

I'm using the sock loom right now and it does take longer to get the knitting done. I also have the 28" board on it's way to me. Bought that one with the specific intention to try making some sweater boots so I can't wait for it to get here.
