Last year I was invloved in a weekly layout challenge on this MB. The girl that posted each week has not been here for quite some time and I do miss the challenge.I id gets lots of layout finished up  So starting Jan 5th, I will be posting a weekly layout challenge in the Layout Forum. Each Thurday, I will post 2 sketches. One will be for a single page and the other will be for a double page layout. All you have to do is follow the sketch using your pictures. Once you are finished, you will post a picture for the rest of the participants to see. You will be amazed at all the different layouts done using the same sketch. Participate when you can as this is not something that you have to do each week. It's just a nudge to get all those yearly pics scrapped!!! No commitments!!!! It also helps you with new designs for your pages. Last year I tried a lot of new things on my layout pages Sewing, folded ribbons, lots of inking and adding dimension to. It was a great learning experience also. I haven't figured out the new name yet but I'll post a link here when I start it up. I would love to join!!! I have never participated in a challenge before and I have tons of pictures to get on layouts!!

I have the 2 sketches ready to post tomorrow!!! I am trying to do the single layout page so I can show an example. I need to get my brain back in scrapbook mode and out of crafting mode  These challenges will be posted in the LAYOUT section because that is where they were posted before. I will post the link here so everyone that is interested can find it. It will be called LID Challenge 2012. LID means "laying it down" and that was it's original title.
