Hi there...I'm new to the cricut gypsy community and was just trying to update my gypsy and noticed by scrolling through all the cartridges already seem to be on the gypsy...are these just samples or can I use these at all? I have not linked any of my cartridges at all, but noticed there are several cartridges already on it as I scroll through them. Thanks for any input you can give me on this little device.

I am sure you will live your Gypsy; I can't imagine not having mine.
All of the cartridge images are on your G, but you can only cut images from cartridges that you have linked to your G. If you haven't linked anything yet, you will see that Gypsy Font and Gypsy Wandering are in black, and all other cartridge titles are in red. The ones in black are the only ones you can cut. I have my G set so that it only shows me my Linked Cartridges when I tap the pull down arrow beside the cartridge title.

hi...thanks for the reply...i truly love this. but when I looked at the pictures...they are not in red...they are all in black...is it possible that this is a return and someone has loaded it with images?

Hi, you probably need to update your gypsy, did you do that? If not you will need to download cricut sync software to your computer. Hope that clears it up for you.

it's possible that it was a return or that it hasn't been updated. what is your build? click the wrench on the welcome screen and tell us the numbers in the bottom left corner

Are the images black or the name of the cartridge? The images are always in black, but the name of te cartridge (lower left of screen) is only black if the cart is linked. Otherwise it is red. If all the cart names are black, it looks like a lucky glitch for you
