Cricut Craft Room Update: Digital purchases can be put on a Gypsy now. After you purchase your digital cartridge, you’ll need to sync your Gypsy with Cricut Sync-http://www.cricut.com/cricutsync/. Once the Gypsy is synced, those cartridges will be available to on the Gypsy. The only time this isn’t the case is if you happen to purchase something that has not yet been loaded into the Gypsy Content Update (which is updated monthly on Hello Thursday).

To be clear, the above is only true for digital purchases. If you link a physical cart to Cricut Craft Room, those will not get added to the Gypsy…yet. We are working on this. Thanks!

Is there a way for international customers to purchase the CCR exclusives. I ask because they only allow you to put in USA or Canada as your country and the cc's will not go through if you havent picked your own country.

I'd love to know the answer to this question too - there are several digital cartridges which I *really* love but as Flo says, as I live Wales, not Canada or US I'm unable to check out... Confused Thanks in advance!

First I have to say.... Sigh..... I Wub David Tennant. And Dr Who! I'm slowly learning to appreciate Matt Smith...but he's not exactly eye candy....

But back to your question..... Smile

The last I heard from PC was that they are working on giving us internationals the ability to purchase the digital carts. I'll email them again today. Smile

Ooh, I like that, "internationals"... sounds all mysterious!!

Thanks for that Narelle, it's good to know we're on their 'to-do' list. I can be patient and bide my time before purchasing any digi-carts.

Lastly, *totally* have to agree about the scrumptious Mr Love Tennant... swoon!!

Thanks again!

Actually, so you know, physical cartridges can be linked to your Gypsy through CCR too! I discovered this last weekend when I synced/updated my Gypsy. I was thrilled to see that the cartridges I had previously linked to CCR were automatically linked to the Gypsy when I ran the Cricut sync. If interested, here's the link to my post about it:

I'm in the UK and I purchased a digital cart today. I entered my mobile number as 44 077..... and my postcode as per normal with a space between the 1st 4 digits. I entered my full UK address but selected US and picked any state. This wasn't accepted so I changed to Canada and selected Alberta (just because it was the top state). My billing address was my full UK address, I think. I then linked up to my Imagine and woo hoo, it worked and I was able to cut out an image.

Don't know whether I was just lucky and whether they'll catch up with me, but it might be worth trying. FYI I chose Sweethearts.

Good luck

Yes, I got my Gypsy working. From looking at the posts I was going to have to send it in (stuck on loading) but they walked me through a reset. Wish I had written down how to do it!!! I reloaded my carts, which was annoying, but I'm back in business. I actually think there was a power issue during the update that caused the problem.

Help! Bought a digital cartridge, and synced my Gypsy...the cart is still showing in red! Also when I go to cut something from smiley cards, it directs me to put in my cartridge! As I recall this was a digital download only available to Gypsy Owners. (Another problem ... if I try to use my Gypsy to even play with the smiley cards images it immediately boots me to the main menu screen.) I have the original Cricut.
Suggestions?

Your digital cartridges will appear on your Gypsy as linked once you use Cricut Sync to update it. You may need to wait for your Order History to change to Order Complete before it will allow you to sync it with your Gypsy. Click on My Account then the Order History tab to check that out.

However, if you purchased a new digital cart after a Hello Thursday cartridge update, that cart won't show up until PC have added it to the next update.

Eg. PC have just released 5 new digital carts - Royalty, Fantasy, Finger Puppets, Whales & Dolphins and Masks - Earthly Elements. While you can purchase and use/cut with these 5 carts in CCR you won't be able to cut with them from your Gypsy until they are added to the next Hello Thursday Gypsy update. (That's the 3rd Thursday of each month.)

For your Smiley cards problem there are instructions on how to fix that in Section 4 of this thread: http://main.cricut.com/communit...TIPS-FOR-CALLING-PC.aspx

is this just the digital cartridges that also come as an actual cartridge?
Or can I purchase craft room exclusives and use them on my gypsy?
I don't use a laptop to cricut - only my gypsy... and I'd like to be able to
get some of the exclusives.
Thanks.

I'm in Wales as well, and I thought I'd test out the craft room syncing to gypsy thing. The basic digi cart that comes with craft room does not link up with my gypsy, but the one I bought (using the Canada Alberta workaround) has linked up. (I chose photo corners)

EDIT - I don't think it added the points to my Rewards accont though, because it didn't automatically recognise me and I put my number in manually

Hi, I too have just purchased a digital download and have found 2 things the same as others, 1. I am in the UK so digital downloads should not be a problem so why do no other parts of the world except for the US and Canada show within the choices? Confused

Also I have missed out on the Rewards too as it recognise me either even though I have rewards on my account already, it mentioned an ID but where would I find my ID as I couldn't find anything where it states this. Crying
