I get this error. I am using Windows Vista what could be wrong? I've uninstalled and reinstalled so many times. This is what I get. The Cricut Bridge application has unexpectedly quit. Cricut Craft Room must close down now.
You may try and re-launch Cricut CraftRoom. If this problem persists, please contact customer support.
I'm very upset to be getting this. I hope it gets resolved sonn. Getting a new a product and not being able to use it is very upsetting. Diane Edited by user Saturday, November 26, 2011 2:49:40 PM(UTC)

Diane If you followed the instructions in the below link and you are still received that error, then CCR is still having issues or it is bogged down with users. You can try at a later time to see if that makes a difference. http://www.cricut.com/cr...m%20Drivers%20PDF_v3.pdf

Diane When you purchase or enter a promo code you are linking those carts to your cricut.com/ccr account which remains on the server. When you have to replace, reformat etc the Mini, those linked carts should remain on your account and should be there when you get the new Mini so you should not lose those carts. You are uninstalling the program from your computer and not the carts. Let us know the outcome.

I am having the same problem as you are. I keep getting the same error message about CCR Bridge. I really thought this would be easier and there is no one to help. I tried calling customer service several times today and they never answer just keep you on hold. Not really fun to buy something you can't use.

I was having the same problems ... What I did was unhook my mini from the computer then logged into CCR and re-hooked my mini back into the computer. Not sure if you guys already tried this but thought I would try to help :)

When you are getting the bridge errors, do you have the Gypsy connected while CCR is opened? Which anti-virus do you have? What browser are you using? What is your OS?

Originally Posted by: pimpinglasses unplug your devices (gypsy or bug) then open your ccr...........you cant have your device on while the program is opening up! Actually, I have just tried both my machines on both my computers. I AM ABLE TO TURN ON MY MACHINES before I go into CCR. I go into CUT in both, and both recognize my machine, so I would be able to do the CUTS. So, I'm not sure why you would get an error in doing that. You can't have both devices turned on at the same time on the same computer when you are going into CCR. In that instance, you would get an error. Can you try on yours, again? IF YOU ARE STILL UNABLE TO GET INTO CCR, with ONE of your machines turned on, there's something wrong, I think. Just curious why we can't do the same things. Char

Diane So just to be clear... you're getting this error when you're opening Cricut Craft Room? If so, it could be an Adobe Air problem. Maybe you should try removing all traces of Adobe Air from your computer then downloading the latest version again. Go to your Control Panel, and find Add/Remove Programs. Uninstall Adobe Air Then download the Air Zapper file and run that. http://www.box.com/s/8pg8dxb4z4ugne5fnh41That will remove all traces of Adobe Air that may be left behind during the uninstall. Download Adobe Air from http://get.adobe.com/air/Try opening CCR again.
