 i AM TRYING TO SET IT UP BUT IT SAYS THAT IT HASNT PASSE DTHE LOGO TESTING FOR COMPATABILITY WITH WINDOWS XP. DOES IT NEED WINDOWS 7 TO WORK?

Don't worry about the driver errors. It's just a Microsoft thing basically implying that it "could" be unstable and cause crashes. Basically, Micro$oft charges a lot for driver testing.

It took awhile for me to get the right firmware downloaded - lots of clicks & one terrifying complete lock up later - I put in one of my shiny new carts, put together a simple couple of images & was cutting within 10 minutes. YAY!!!!!
Thanks to all giving guidance & instruction links, on this & several other threads. I don't know what I'd have done without the Cricut Community.
