I want to update my Cricut Mini firmware to use my Gypsy. Can I just say "update firmware"? Presently I have an E and E2 and I update my E with my Gypsy and the E2 with Cricut Sync. I don't want to create any problems for my G or any of my other tools which are working great at the moment. Thanks, in advance, for your help.

I'm in the same boat. Download the CDS Trial and I don't see any cake model options.

Follow up, I was able to update the Mini using the CDS Software. I had to pick cricut create as the driver.
Haven't tried to connect it to the Gypsy yet.

Thanks for your input. I do have Design Studio so I could update thru that application. Mercy, the Bug Guide, in another post advised I could use Design Studio or the Gypsy. I may try to update tomorrow and will advise how it goes. Glad to hear your machine updated well!
