Before I bought my die I cut a 2" wide and 12" long strip (if you want a smaller flower you can cut it to about 1.5") and then used a border punch to get a rounded edge. Then I scored at each design or every 1/4". If you have a cartridge that has simlar borders as some of the punches you can save a little time instead of using the border punch. Just cut the border with your Cricut and then score. Oh Donna. . .you can open .gypsy files in your DS!!! When you download the file, make sure you select .gypsy as the file type in DS. Then, to keep the file, use SAVE AS, name it and select the .cut file type.
