Hi all, I just unboxed and connected my new E2. I was able to get the wifi connected no problem and went ahead to update my firmware. It is taking so long, it has been going for almost an hour now. Is this normal? Thanks!

I do not have the wifi, tech is closed and I have not read that it takes that long to update.

Can you tell if the update is progressing?

Mercy, you're a sweetheart for trying to help. I don't see any type of progression bar. Do you think it would be ok to turn it off and try it again or will that be bad?

What percentage is it at right now?

If you decide to cancel out of C Sync, I would do the following in this order, exit out of Sync, disconnect from the computer, turn off E2, remove the wireless adapter, take the power cable out of the E2, wait for about 30 seconds, re-connect the power cable, connect the other cable to the computer and E2 to try to update via the cable. Let us know the outcome.

okay I did what you said and when I connected it to my laptop to update my expression said there were no new updates....does this mean the update via the wifi worked? Is there somewhere I can see the version to make sure mine is current?

I am not near my e2 but on the e2 in the settings you should be able to see your build. Also, while connected to c sync, help and about should give that to you as well. Tell us that build.
